I got around to watching Hellsing OVA yesterday. I can say I wasn't expecting much to begin with after the disappointment I had with Hellsing the anime. Once again, my disappointment for this series continues. Being nothing more than eye candy with it's animation and with the god type character in Alucard. This anime just bores me to no end. For flashy animation and gore, you can check it out. For story? I might check out the manga, because the anime storyline was garbage full with plot holes and this OVA was not much better.

Once again, disappointment for the Hellsing anime series. Maybe the manga is better than this series full of plot holes and being an eye candy series. I might check out more OVA episodes of the series to see if it get better. This OVA remake is suppose to be follow the manga much closer. Only time will tell, I guess.

IGPX just ended its first season last night. Not exactly how I expected it to go, but we'll see what happens in the second season. I will say that I had lots of fun watching it with my daughter. I have a feeling the 2nd 13 episodes will be full of a little more tension than the first 13.

I finished watching Peacemake the other day, and I watched The Place Promised in our Early Days, it was aright, but Voices of a Distant Star is still better. I'm starting Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig in feb, and getting Ghost in the Shell 2 Innocence in March. Anyone who loves GITS should get the Madman release since it has the dub and the most extras out of all of the releases. I would start collecting the Cowboy Bebop Remix but I've decided I'm only getting it once the collection is out cause I can't be bothered spending a tonne of cash on it. And I can't decide whether I want to get the Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex Log 1...

It's not a "new" release. It's the AUSTRALIAN release

Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (2 Disc Special Edition)

The folks in the UK get the dub too but the Madman release has more extras and is naturally gonna be cheaper.

I'd be getting that release of Innocence if it wasn't for the fact that it's PAL and I have no way of watching it. I have the Ghost in the Shell Official Log, but haven't even opened it yet. I'll let you know how it is once I finish watching the first season.

Just finished up with Kanon. Yet another anime based off an h-game that turned out to be a very good romance anime. Didn't like it at first, but as it progressed, it got a lot better. Glad I finally decide to finish this series after dumping it almost a year ago.

On deck, is Mai Hime, which I'm going to watch in a few minutes, and Saikano.

I also finished the first season of Magic Knight Rayearth, and am now watching the second season. Up next will probably be Irresponsible Captain Tylor.

Strangely enough, I have to disagree with you on this one Lynk. I like the *music* better on 2nd Gig, but was really disappointed with the animation sequencing used with the opening. Overall the opening for the 1st series flowed together and had a much more powerful feel to it as a 'stand alone' piece.

Then again, I listened to "Rise" for about a year before I ever saw the animation for 2nd GIG, so that gave my mind plenty of time to prejudge the sequencing.

The main part about the first seasons opening animation that I didn't like was the fact that it was CG... It did flow well and was powerful, but the fact that it was CG made it seem like it belonged in the opening sequence to the videogame rather than the anime.

Plus 2nd Gig's opening had a sense of style and was that coolness you can only get from a group of elites while the first season pretty much focused mostly on the Major. It really was very cool and looked like it belonged.

It made Section 9 look so much more cooler, and that's a pretty good effort since Section 9 is pretty damn cool to start off with XD

Well, just finished Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora. Very solid romance OVA series only 6 episodes long. Looking for a quick romance anime, then check Hanbun out. Hanbun also has a pretty good OP in "Aoi Koufuku".

Finished up Bubblegum Crisis OVA. I'll post about it in the Bubblegum Crisis Center Forum tomorrow.

Well, I'm all caught up in Mai Otome. I need to catch up in Monster, which is complete. Same goes for Ginban Kaleidoscope. I really need to get around to finish up Saikano, but I'm not really that touch or interested in that series at the moment.

Still need to pick up Noein and I might check out X TV. Still debating, but at the moment. Just picking up Monster episodes since I need to get over like 30 to 40 episodes, then I have to get around to watching them.

Oh and I went back and rewatched Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal and Reflection... damn the Rurouni Kenshin OVAs rock @.@

I just finished off Vandread Seasons' 1 and 2. Fun anime with a decent ending. Taped most of it off air and then went out and bought the last DVD when I couldn't wait any longer. XP

FullMetal Alchemist TV ends tonight in the US. I might just have to pick up this series on DVD after this because I have a feeling I'll want to go back and rewatch this one a few times. XDDD

Caught an episode of Chrono Crusade on Showtime Beyond last night. Think I'm going to have to either buy this one or tape it off the cable box. Looks like another fun series.

Still working through Nadia, one or two episodes at a time.

GITS:SAC 2nd Gig is still on... and I'm still watching. Same with Naruto.

Since I'm mostly a TV anime viewer, I guess Bleach will be up soon. XD

I've been on a Bubblegum Crisis binge the last week. Started out with the OVA, then Crash, watched the ADP OVA and Parasite dolls, and then BGC2040 in 2 big chunks over 2 days. I started watching AD Police TV yesterday, but it'll be slow because I just got a new game.

Also, for the first time, I watched ALL of these in Japanese. It's crazy, BGC2040 is like a completely different show.
