Some scenes from Noir are just too awfully quiet lol and lots of Mirielle's memories are replayed over and over again, but despite saying that they're put in there for a reason.

One Piece! - I love this anime, although the 4kids version is absolute crap. im getting the subs as i type. there is way too much graphical editing in the 4kids edit of One Piece.

I've been avoiding the TV broadcasts of Ghost in the Shell like the plague, because I've been buying the DVDs. Same goes for Full-Metal Alchemist.

When I can gather up enough extra money hopefully I can do the same. I know the broadcast versions aren't as good but it's all I got for now.

Galaxy Angel Season 3 - That show is seriously wacked out.

EatMan'98 - Came across this one going cheap and I sead "oh yeah". It's much better than the first season.

Yu Yu Hakusho - About the only anime that I will watch dubbed as I need some background noise while I am grinding on MMORPGs.

Hmm one of my all time faves as a kid was Sailor Moon, that was one of the first Japanese cartoons I ever saw. I still love it lol it's weird but the characters and stuff are funny, plus there are little mistake thingos put into em, which makes you gotta look hard to find them, like in one scene of one of the first eps they have MARS printed on a billboard down the street lol

Well I do know Sailor Moon was the first ever anime I saw but I gotta say I wasn't drawn to anime at the time (heck I didn't even know what anime was during that time lol). I gotta say though, I found scenes of Serena pigging out on food was highly amusing.

Man, I just went to Best Buy (big department/electronics store here in the US)
and I went thru thier DVD's, and I bought Robotech:Protoculture Collection for $83!!!!

This has got to best purchase of anime I have ever gotten. Not only is this show one of the best I have EVER seen, (it goes right up thier with BGC), but also the best value. It contains ALL 85 episodes, that is over 2125 minutes of show . Plus it contains 7 bonus/extra's DVD's, that make up this 21 disk monster box set.

I suggest if you havent ever seen this, go buy it now!

Recently started watching a few episodes of Getbackers, the story seems interesting itself and the character designs looks pretty slick and cool (specially those crazy hairstyles lol). I have a feeling I'm going to check out more of this and end up buying the DVD's.

Watched the first episode of Hantsuki, a six episode OVA series. About a girl who's about to have a serious operation with the possible chance of dying and she becomes friends with a young boy staying at the hospital. Seem like another romance anime that short and sweet. The first episode was good, but nothing mind blowing.

Another series I should start watching soon is Arc the Lad, which I heard was nothing, but an average level anime. It's based off the RPG series Arc the Lad, which is one of my personal favorite RPG, so that's why I'm checking this out.

I might check out Mai HIME soon.

I just finished up Paradise Kiss, and I really can't say I'm disappointed. The ending felt really rushed and it had me confused for a while, but overall, I really liked the whole thing. The animation was crisp and smooth and the characters were really friggin' pretty. Now I just need to go out and acquire the manga for myself. Ai Yazawa's work is awesome; I'll probably look into getting Nana too.

Currently getting through Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (I <3 Tachikomas and Togusa's mullet) and Futakoi Alternative (<3 <3 <3 Sara and Souju).

Mai HiME was great up until episode 26. Then they apparently smoked the happy sentai bong and decided that the ending needed the HiME Rangers and a happy reset with karaoke. Which kinda ruined the effect of the previous episodes.

Mai Otome is more like two films by the same studio; (almost) same cast of names, but the MH characters are playing completely different roles in a new setting. Such as Natsuki Kuga becomes Natsuki Kruger T_T

Also, I forgot about "IGPX", which I'm also watching with my oldest daughter. Another fun, but light, series. I don't understand why it's on so late at night though. It really could air at 6 pm instead of 10:30, right before Adult Swim.

My little bro keeps telling me how he loves the new IGPX series. I didn't understand why until he sent me a dvd of the first three episodes. Great music, great animation and an allstar cast. He also sent me Ghost Stories, which is a fun series (and really creepy sometimes).

I swear to god, Hillary Haag must own that studio or something, because its really hard to come across an english dubbed anime without her in it.
