2nd Gig vol 2 yesterday Gotta wait another 9 days to see our version of GITS2 with out +2 extra than your version lol (if you did watch the UK version).
You've read it! You can't unread it!
Wooo! Slayers Try!! Aww, that takes me back, I think i'll have to give that a watch again one day soon aswell.
Right now I'm finally settling into Azumanga Daioh after about 2 weeks of busyness and putting it off, then I plan on possibly watching Saiyuki...
Also I just finished BGC 2040 again, and I tried watching some in English, I can't believe how different it really is, almost frightening. It leaves me wondering what the true translation should be...

I'm going to be watching Oh! My Goddess OVA, if I like it, then I'll be getting Ah! My Goddess TV. I'll also be watching Gasaskai in a couple of days or so.
Finished Saikano last week. Also finished up Monster not too long.
Dropped Lamune, which I suggest everybody should avoid. Extremely boring anime would be a nice tag on Lamune. I love the artwork and animation, but the characters and story will bore you to no end.
I've also picked up a few series in Shakugan no Shana, which has awesome OP themes. Bleach fans might be able to get into that anime. I've also picked Shinigami no Ballad. Pretty artwork, but can't say much for it since I've only watched one episode.
Haven't been watching a lot of Anime lately apart from GITS, but I have been laughing my ass off at the new FMP fumoffu DVD.
Think i may dust off my old Tank police tape and watch them all again

Keisatsu Sensha Tai TANK SWAT OVA - The OVA is based off Dominion Tank Police. It's got CG animation, what I believe it's called. If you like Dominion Tank Police, you should check it out. Still, even if you didn't, checking out the anime in action with that animation is pretty sweet.
Kyou no Go no Ni - Another ecchi series. Nothing much to say beyond that since it just began. It's also an OVA.
Sokyuu no Fafner - Single Program - Right of Left - Gundam Seed artwork. Didn't mind this Fafner OVA or movie, whatever you want to call it. Just finished it. Going to check the series out later in the week.
I finished watching Gun X Sword, Shakugan no Shana, Ah! My Goddess: The Movie and the OVA.
A ton of series are getting into their final stretch. Mai Otome got one episode to go and Solty Rei almost done, too.
Ah! My Goddess TV rocks my socks.
Watch Vol One of ROD yesterday, intresting.... I will be renting the rest of this anime, but it hasn't wetted my appitaite to buy it.

The OVA or TV? If it's TV, watch the OVA first and then watch TV.

Seen the OVA long ago.. TV LYNK TV

TV is great so love ROD OVA and TV.

Currently watching a 2005 series called Paradise Kiss, one of the main characters in it bears such an exact resemblance to Makoto Isshiki from RahXephon, and I've also started watching FullMetal Alchemist after buying the limited tin box that came with soundtrack 1.
Paradise Kiss is a decent series, yay for you watching it lol.
i'm in the middle of watching Niea_7
ANy1 watched Lunar Legend tsukihime, I think that was okay.... I was reminded of it when those guys I call "Brother Dorks" downloaded it the other day and waved it at my face.
Does Teen Titans count as anime? hehe. am watching Naruto currently.
~ You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard. ~
Teen Titans isn't anime no.
But if you wanna talk about Tsukihime... *points @ darky*
You've read it! You can't unread it!
Last exile watched yesterday, didn't think it was much hype that was untill I watched it....

I'll have to wait till I see more, It's kind of hard to explain as I got no back history other then this big battle going on and the Girl, Who is the girl and whats that mech want with her?

Yeah the first episodes do introduce you to a whole new world you don't quite understand yet, but you'll soon find it more comfortable later on as the series progresses.
I was sold with the first scene in Last Exile, when the Silvana is in the Grand Stream. If Gonzo had've positioned that scene as an introduction, THEN cut to the opening credits, it would've been perfect. But I guess it's fine the way it is lol.
Of course, eventhough I was sold by that first scene, it didn't hit me how great LE really was until the absolute last episode where everything just came to one very cool climax and all the characters proved their worth
You've read it! You can't unread it!
Last exile is my number one priority to see next, hell Lynks been bugging me about it for ages XD
I've been bugging everyone about it for ages

You sure have... same with R.O.D too. Lynk put me into debt!
I've made a deal with Lynk to watch Last Exile only if he buys Lunar Legend Tsukihime lol XD.
You should just watch Last Exile, because it's so good.
Finished Black Cat, Mai Otome and Sokyuu no Fafner this week.
Black Cat was pretty weak shounen anime. Very rushed series and they really end the series poorly. They even made a cool villian like Creed into a wuss at the end. I do not suggest people check this anime out if they are looking shounen anime, I suggest Get Backers over this anime.
Mai Otome, like HIME, had a cheesy ending. I've posted my views on Otome in a previous topic.
Fafner sucked during the first 10 episodes, then became a pretty solid anime after that. Not a terrible series. If you like GS artwork, then you might want to check this series out.
Anyway, began watching Canvas 2, Eureka Seven, Full Moon wo Sagashite and Kiba. Going to finish Get Backers real soon.
Watching Air Gear, mostly for Ringo and Simca, I have no idea who any of the other characters are. Also watching Ouran High School Host Club, because it's completely gay, yet somehow, not quite. And lastly, NANA, because the manga is pretty good, I liked Paradise Kiss and Ai Yazawa is teh awesome.
Yarr.
I'm watching Air Gear, too. I'm not sure why, but I like it. Ringo and Simca are pretty sweet, but that's not the reason why I like it. Maybe I'll figure out why I find this series so interesting in the near future.
Ouran High School Host Club seem so gay, but yet it somehow, it's not. Not sure how to explain it. Though, the end of episode one did help clear that idea that this might be one gay anime! Anyway, point is, it's pretty funny anime. I'm enjoying the series myself.
Like Air Gear, I've watched one episode of NANA and enjoyed it. Yet again, not sure why I like it.
I'm watching a bunch of other junk, but too lazy to list them at the moment.
Currently watching .hack//Roots, My Hime, Kaleido Star - New Wings. Waiting for Hellsing Ultimate episode 2, due out in August according to ANN.
currently watching:
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and the live action sailor moon series (ok not anime but it still counts....right?)
Not sure if this is an 'anime', but I saw the Animatrix yesterday. Got to say, after a few years, CG animation has definitely improved (comparing 'Fall of the Osiris', the first 'ep' in Animatrix to 'Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children').
Anyway, I found it ... weird, to say the least. If it's supposed to be a 'prequel' to the Matrix series (and perhaps a few eps in between or during the movies)... well, I felt like I was missing something. <.<
My Parents Stole My Soul
The MPSMS Group
Well, I'm currently watching the following series at the moment.
Ah! My Goddess Everyone Has Wings
Air Gear
Black Lagoon
Bubblegum Crash
Dai Mahou Touge
Disgaea
Gintama
Higurashi no Nakukoroni
Himawari!
Kono Minikukumo Utsukushii Sekai
NANA
Ouran High School Host Club
School Rumble 2
Soul Link
Strawberry Panic
The Third - Aoi Hitomi no Shoujo
TOKKO
XXXHolic
I'm still consider if I should follow a couple of these series or just drop them. I did drop Kiba and High School Girls yesterday. Kiba was, well, pretty boring. High School Girls was just a bunch of weak shots of girl's panties and nothing much beyond that.
Since I watched Bubblegum Crisis OVA a few months back, I decide to finally watch Bubblegum Crash!. So far, only watched one of the episodes. Not too fond of the new Priss' voice or even the character of Priss. When did Priss become a pop singer?
Kono Minikukumo Utsukushii Sekai (This Ugly & Beautiful World) is pretty average to be honest, I saw that a long time ago and it finally gets licensed recently (like 2-3 years after it came out).
It has the stereotypical storylines, pervertedness, comedy and characters. Everything about it is pretty stereotypical really which doesn't really make it stand out that much, which is probably why it took such a long time for it to be licensed by...ADV? I can't remember exactly but I do know it just recently got licensed.

I can't remember exactly but I do know it just recently got licensed. Yep, it was licensed last month by ADV. I've watched up to episode 5 of the series and I can't say I'm too impressed or disappointed. So, in short, I do agree with your comment that series seem to be average and I do not expect it to go beyond or even below average.
Though, the storyline not really stereotypical. It's more along the lines of being rushed badly. Of course that happens with some 12 episode series, but I've noticed most events happening in the series just seem to just happen like that. Basically, being rushed. Outside that, I agree with the res. Very stereotypical characters, comdey and ecchi comdey.
I guess one high point for the series is that it does seem to have nice animation from what I have seen, but nothing much outside that. If you really like checking out anime girl's breasts, then you might love this series, which just might be it's selling point.

Hahahahaha!!
*ahem*
Yeah, that had to be nearly the worst part of "Crash!". After Scoop Chase, the fans in the US really didn't know what was going on with the BGC universe and why no more episodes weren't getting made. Then "Crash!" got advertised in magazines and we were all excited again... until we saw "Japanese Idol" starring Priss Asagiri!!
Talk about your series killer. XP

haha wow. i'm not nearly as active with shows as everyone here, for shame. i stopped watching stuff for a while and am recently getting back into it, but even if i don't get to watch a lot, what i do watch is quality man. quality.
at the moment, i'm watching BLEACH, Ah! My Goddess (TV), and Kimagure Orange Road (KOR). i've got FLCL and go through that like crazy (because it's awesome!), and Kare Kano. those two are always around and they go in the dvd player whenever. when i get the BGC remastered collection that will definitely take priority. and then escaflowne collection will start running as well. whatever keeps me procrastinating.
i'm actually much more into manga than anime, and one thing that's struck me with bleach is all the filler episodes that keep being added. so annoying >_<. is this more of a "recent" thing since series' are lasting beyond the 26 episode mark?

LOL, I gave up on Bleach by episode 12, it was just starting to get draggy and I just couldn't be bothered with it anymore. From what others have said about it recently becoming more filler, well I'll just say I'm glad I dropped it early. The funny thing is that I'm also currently watching a long running series at the moment, that being Kyou Kara Maou and up to episode 63.
As for manga, the last one I have ever read was Midori no Hibi and I didn't even finish the whole thing yet. The only manga that I bought instead of downloading it was Love Hina vol 7,8,9 and 14 and they've been collecting dust on top of my DVD shelf in my room. So you can see I'm more of a anime fan than manga XD.
I also noticed you had Kare Kano in your watch list, I was wondering if you read the manga for it as well? It's really a shame that the anime got cancelled because of the differences between Gainax and the author and it was just starting to become more interesting as well.
mmm, all in all, i still do like bleach a lot. i just tend to dodge the fillers when i know they're coming haha. sort of like a hit and run .
as for kare kano, when the show ended i started picking up the manga. i wasn't sure about it at first, since i wasn't immediately won over by the art style, but once i finished volume 8 i couldn't not continue. i love the author's littleside interjections about tea and knitting, it cracks me up. i really miss the anime though. this was actually one show that i enjoy watching in english more than in japanese. blasphemy, i know, but there you have it.
ooh! love hina! another good show! the opening theme makes my head spin, but it's hilarious. i love the manga so much more though. i felt like the quality of art in the show kind of kept dropping throughout the series. >_< if there's one thing i can't stand, it's bad art, haha. i think that's one of the reasons i tend to enjoy manga more. the art is consistent and the story has less fillers than anime.
I'm currently watching The Melancholy of Harushi Suzumiya. I read some of the manga of it recently as well (English translation: http://www.baka-tsuki.net/project/index....ya_Haruhi).
I'm only watching reruns of animes on adult swim, I really need to get Last Exile XD
*points* YES YOU DO! And I need to hurry up and get that Last Exile site opened lol.
Oh yeah and in a few months I'll be starting Mai-HiME...
You've read it! You can't unread it!
I fully admit to still watching Pokemon, even though I shouldn't. It totally sucks, but still, I'm a Pokemon Geek.
Then I'm watching the horrible dub of Naruto, even though the Manga is soo much better.
And Neon Genesis Evangelion, InuYasha and some other stuff.

You have to stop. Those things will give you brain tumor.
Am currently watching a locally(and tragically) dubbed version of Gensomaden Saiyuki. And I think I have a bump on the back of my head.

I am despertly trying to finish ROD TV but the on-line DVD rental service doesn't seem to have the last Vol in the lists....
Is it under another name?
