I won't support anything that rips off the series in such a way, even if it is non profit. Draw your own art.
You've read it! You can't unread it!
It would be better if it was all art done by a member of the team. It's not that hard finding artists, especially since this is the internet lol. I mean I did find Damatee and grilledcat to draw the Crisis Management eps.
You get a lot more flexability with your own art because you can draw just about anything for any situation. I respect those who go to those lengths to create their own works from scratch rather than just cutting and pasting. When BGCO was being developed here we had Mav drawing up concept pics and they had Sadi recreate a Priss and the Replicants poster that appeared in the BGCOVA. They didn't just take a screenshot and paste it on, they did it all themselves and used the anime as a reference.
You've read it! You can't unread it!
No denying that having your own artist makes it more flexable. Like I said from what I saw and read I just offered up my art from the series since that's what it seemed like they were using. Just an offer. I now know you don't support it.
You need to edit the graphics section of the main post to avoid further confusions.
Well since ??????? isn't here it's pretty much dead in the water anywayz...
You've read it! You can't unread it!
Anyway, I'll still offer up the scans of the cels to whoever becomes the artist of the new game if it ever comes to fruition. The artist can use them as source material for their art.
Well i have programming knowlege specificly in making games and currently im learning 3D programming. I learnt normal controls now im trying to learn how to make mouse looking and shooting in 3D =P
I also have basicly already made a whole battle system with spells and effects and stuff i could just modify it =P
I wouldnt attempt to get all the people together id probibly be unreliable because well i tend not to stick to one thing and i havnt finished a game before =P
If we where gonna make a game we could just credit ?????????'s idea or make are own.

Well, BGC was the driving dream behind my choice of majors in college. I know better now, but perhaps I may be able to help. I've an MS in AE and a dozen years experience coding up physics engines for real spacecraft ground testing rigs. I've also nearly finished my AA in fine arts. I've done bare-knuckle codes in C/C++ for various "orbital platform" um..."targeting systems", but I haven't done anything video-game nor BGC. I just turned down a job opportunity in the physics department at EA, but I still want to do something BGC before I go.
I know rigid body dynamics and rocket propulsion systems fairly well and would love the chance to shoehorn a hardsuit model into the gaming physics engine of your choice. And no, I know this project ain't got nuthin' to do with real physics-- but I'm the Pops you'd need to tune the feel of it towards road-worthy.
I've got some minimal experience w/ 3D modeling doing spacecraft thermal engineering in a former career (we used ray tracing in reverse to calculate on-orbit heat loads and IR paths). I'd love the shot at learning Bender (I love "kiss my shiny metal" open source tools) if that'd help, but my true skills really lie in Photoshop/Painter hacking of any surface maps/skins you may need. I've a decade or more experience w/ Photoshop and folks tell me I'm abusing Painter 9 after only a year.
If I were Chief Designer of a BGC game, it'd turn out like Grand Turismo. It'd be all arena, starting you out w/ a cheap moped and a camera, buying equipment and "unlocking" "opportunities" with experience, all the way up to a fully customizable hardsuit/autoslave system with Battlefield-2142-like on-line teamplay.
Yeah, I know. It'd take EA to build that, but a fella can dream. After all, dreaming got me through 14 years of engineering school and a nearly built working pulsejet back pack...but that's another story.
Drop me a note if I sound like an asset. Otherwise, just let me dream. If you see my future daughter zipping overhead in a shiny metal asset someday....don't say you weren't warned. I am actually working towards it.

To be perfectly honest, this isn't really a great place to be looking for opportunities to test out any skills you may have on any kind of videogame project worthy of those skills. One or two members are working on small projects who may be interested in your help, but overall, there are better places to look than here.
