Now, I know you're gonna say something like,
"Oh, c'mon, that's not even a contest!"
But it doesn't have to be everyone vs. everyone.
It could be individual vs. individual e.g. "Priss vs. Marneus Calgar".
Tokyo vs. Tyranid invasion!
This is basically the thread to check out if you love
both BGC 2040 and Warhammer 40K.
I'll say one thing, Tokyo 2040 is sexier than Warhammer 40K.

lol, they can be. I just want to see what the other guys think.
Btw, do you play Warhammer 40K?

Nope, never played it.

i have played it not bad but as much as i want to see Prisss kill a few space marines, i couldnt see it happen
It would be funny to see several Orks go
on a rampage and attack some AD Police forces. XD

Military Intelligence are two contradictory words
He has a secret power to his cane has +1000 Death Star Destroyer skill =P
Well maybe...XD
I thought about playing 40k but I already play fantasy so I can't really afford to buy more models than I already have I like the concept though.
BGC2040 hands down its less nerdcore. Theres a game workshop in the mall by my house and me being a Anime nerd I feel bad for the warhammer kids, Its like Herion, but with little lead based figures.
but whats worse?
Warhammer 40k or Magic:The Gathering CCG?

Warhammer 40k, it actually requires a lot of effort to paint those little figures. I have a friend whos a 40k fanatic, so I know how dedicated they get.

Maybe people should move up in levels instead of staying there at WH40k.
What i mean is if you get realy realy good at painting small models why not start painting bigger and bigger things then get some artist/painting job =P

Exactly, if you have modeling skills, why not try to make model
aircraft or even try to find a way to put them to good use in the real world?

There was a fan fiction story that was posted in the crisis center where BGC OVA Knight Sabers were sent into the Warhammer 40K universe to help the humans there. It's not a bad story, but it would be much better if the Knight Sabers(neither the OVA or the 2040 versions) do some scenarios in there own timeline. Here's some story ideas:
1. Space Hulk scenario - Genom finds an alien derelict starship and sends an exploration team to search out the wreck for any technological items that Genom deems marketable, but the Knight Sabers goes out by the request of the USSD client to destroy the derelict and waiting in the derelict's dark corners are the Tyranids' scouting party looking for a fresh source of living organic materials for their hives.
2. Necron intrusion story - if you know what a Necron drone is, then enough said !
3. A castaway Battle sister or a space marine is stuck on MegaTokyo or Tokyo 2040 version and meets up with the Knight Sabers in rouge boomer incident.
As for game pieces, the 40K rules should be possible to switch some of the Knight Sabers' anti-boomer weapons for some of the space marine versions but for actual game miniatures, the only match are the capsule toy pieces seen in this website to be use as game piece but not to scale size to those 40K figures.
Priss' Sekira or The Replicants vs. Chaos Marine Squad in a rock band battle royale.

Hmmm...both characters are completely badass. So...I'm not
sure who would win. Probably Priss because she violently sings
her songs in a more sexy fashion. No offense, Chaos Space Marines.
Btw, general, cool story ideas!
I'm new here, just so you guys know..
Anyway, gotta say it, because it's a fact...
...the space marines along with anybody wearing space marine armor carry Bolt weapons, these guns are painful to get hurt by and would rip a hardsuit to peices.
If any of you have read Deathday, then you'd also understand what I'm talking about. Generally weapons made by a species, are designed to kill the species that made it. So, bolt pistols were made to go against the power armor worn by space marines.
No offense, but a hard suit isn't as thick or bulky as a space marine power suit. Being as two or three shots will KILL a space marine, one will be more than enough to blow Priss in half if not kill her.
Other than that, the knight sabers do have an interesting arsenal. For one they're much more agile and capable of moving faster. However the limits on their battery metal would also make it hard to fight the space marine dudes...
Just my two cents there.
I think if this where to happen there would be a reconnaissance mission by the Knightsabers first. Im pretty sure they would try to get hold of the bolt gun technology and combine it with the hard suits some how. Then Nene would probibly have an advantage. One thing though its not like theres a army of knight sabers XD
So the Knight Sabers VS. the space marines wouldn't work out too well, being as the space marines are freakishly powerful even when out of their armor.
The bolt guns would be a pretty handy tool to impliment into the hard suits, but they'd still have to deal with making ammo, and having some method of getting more people to help fight.
I can definantly se a K-suit vs. a Terminator though. The only real downside to it though is the fact that both are slow, and one has weapons that can rip armor apart. From what I've seen, it would take two to five K-suits to handle a single Terminator.
The odds I'm seeing here are not in favor of the people from BGC...
>_>
I'd probably assume the secret weapon that could be used against the Space marines would be the Boomer/Voomers being as they can "Go Mad" and attack just about everything. Not only would it seriously freak out the foot soldiers of the imperial army, but if you got the big military boomers in there, then it would be serious chaos.
This is all assuming that the imperial army decided to have a full on attack against the city...
Plus, the Space Marines are "genetically engineered" compared
to the Knight Sabers. The Knight sabers are just athletically in shape.
A Firebee would get PWNED by a Tyranid Gargolye.
