Ever noticed that Parasite Dolls starts in 2034, the second episode is 1 year later in 2035 and then the third episode is 5 years later... in 2040?

....now that I've gotten your attention. Time to talk about one of the lesser talked about BGC series since everyone focuses on either BGC2040 or BGCOVA all the time.

So what did everyone think? I wanna start a discussion I demand it for I am the admin!

Himm Parasite dolls….. well out of the BGC world it plays a very important part for me. While it doesn’t focus on the Knight Sabres it does focus on the deep meaning of what it is to be human and also asking what it means to be alive, That question being raised by the boomers. Overall I would say this is the ADP OVA remade like BGC was into 2040, it follows a lot of the same basic elements and raises the same questions.
Animation wise I think this is the overall best as the last episode is the best I ever seen…

I couldn't get most of it, specially the last ova, maybe because I watched it dubbed in english and for me is more easy read subs

I´ve seen the BGC OVA, Tokyo 2040, AD Police TV and the OVA but I have to admit that I never came to watch Parasite Dolls. I guess Lynk Former is right when he says that it´s the least known series of the BGC-universe

I find that surpising really... ADV don't really advertiste it that much as a show, it only if your a hard core BGC fan is who know about it...

I loved Parasite Dolls, maybe even more than BGC 2040. The characters were interesting and the animation was great this is definitely in my top 10 of most Fav Anime.

Overall the character development in Parasite dolls is the deepest, the only other one coming close is ADP TV.

Parasite Dolls is too short to be considered the deeepest, hell even BGC2040 has more character development than PD and I don't even like BGC2040 lol.

A lot does happen to the characters in so few episodes though, that much is true, but it's not as indepth as a longer series where you get more exposure to the characters and their interactions with each other, etc.

The best two BGC series for character development is the BGCOVA and ADPTV. Parasite Dolls ranks pretty high of course since it made good use of the three episodes for Reiko, Buzz and few moments with Kimbell.

I love how Parasite Dolls flipped the coin and instead of Genom being the villian it was an extremist anti-boomer group that really got things going in the end.
