Where does one put Parasite Dolls in the rest of the BGC univerce?

I find it hard to put it in with the orginal BGC time line. According to the year 2034, it would fit right after BUBBLE GUM CRASH. However :-
1. The your standard boomers where not had advanced in Bubble GUM CRASH.
2. Bubble Gum Crisis establiished that the Sexriod boomers were illegal. It just about every 2nd Boomer that show up in Parasite Dolls was designed for sex.
2.5 The reason why the Sexriod boomers were illegal were illegal was that they were too human. And you got the main character of parasite dolls that has a Boomer for a partner that pretends to be human.

Putting it in with the BGC2040 time line does not make scene. With the year of 2034, it would put in between AD POLICE TV and BGC2040.
Again, Boomers were not as advanced in BGC2040.
And, MegaTokyo gets completely blown up in the last episode. There for making it impossible to fit into the BGC2040 time line.

So where do I place Parasite Dolls?

Well If I remember what happan was that Parasite Dolls production began before Bubblegum Crisis 2040 and ADP TV came onto the scene. For some reason or another in was cancel before them and only relieved after the hit that was 2040, you can see the differeance between quality of animation between episode 1 and 2 agaisnt number 3.

So if anything Parasite Dolls fit somehow into the original BGC universe, as 2040 didn't exist then. However with the big amount of time between productions and different teams that made the show. You can expect some errors between the two regarding the conternuity of the shows.

I've just been considering it yet another alternate BGC universe. Nothing in it fits with any of the other series, so it can't be directly connected.

That is the same conclusion that I am coming down too.

And even AD POLICE FILES does not fit into BGC 2040 universe. However the details that affect this are so small that you can easily ignor or over look them with effecting the time line.
These details are....
1. Year of the great kato quate was earlier in AD POLICE FILES.
2. Megatoyko was called another name (an not remember it)

However you can ignor or over looks these details, and it would not effect the story and the possibility of it fitting into the BGC2040 universe.

It was called Genom City or the other names has been Neo-Tokyo......

Really ADP TV is completly independent of all the other shows, it just took the technology and the ADP and thrown them togerther to spawn another show, Kinder like CSI...

Parasite Dolls is closer to the original two shows if anything, but as I said it was a good number of years between productions teams and little facts like correct dates can be ignored when it came to write the story.

Ah! Why didn't I notice this thread? Bleah, well I can answer this one...

The relationship between AD Police OVA and Bubblegum Crisis is pretty loose but there isn't anything that disallows them from being on the same timeline. Bubblegum Crash! is considered an unofficial sequal to the original BGC but it is part of the same timeline... you just don't have to count it if you don't want to. Bubblegum Crisis Toko 2040 is its own thing, as is AD Police TV. Parasite Dolls, while taking after the original set of BGC series and having more of a cyberpunk feel than even BGC2040, it is set within its own timeline. I haven't included Scramble Wars cause it's just a fun lil Wacky Races thing involving other AIC series...

And to clarify, ADPTV doesn't fit into the BGC2040 timeline at all.
