I was just watching Vandread last night on veoh.com and I've kind of taken a liking to this series.

Who here has seen this series?

To me, it seems kind of like Tenchi Muyo with mecha.

I caught a few episodes on Encore channel a while back and really enjoyed what I saw. Unfortunately, it was on too early for me to see it most days, so I waited for a good deal on the DVDs so I could sit down and enjoy the show all the way through... I just haven't had time to do that yet.

From what I saw though, it was pretty interesting. I loved the character design and animation and I thought the idea of men and women being seperated on two different planets was pretty cool. That made for a couple of funny awkward scenes in the episodes I saw.

It's decent. I watched the entire anime about a year or two ago. Fan service left and right in the series and mecha battles. What else do you need?
