must I be more specific? anyone other than me and my sister whose heard of Chobits...well I love this anime, it's shallow but its not. Love the near ending when hideki's heart was broken wahahahhahah it made me feel cold too its just a really depressing anime at times but everytime you see chii, I mean my heart warms up. I just have this thing for chicks who looks like chii, even if its a persocon I wouldn't careless. She's adorable, and dumb, but not too dumb.

Anyone who just sees fanservice or softcore porn simply DOES NOT get it. It's such a beautifully made anime with many layers of meaning.

True. I don't, in anyway, hate Chobits. It's actually one of the harem anime I watched and enjoyed (the other being Love Hina). I'm not into love stories, but I like the metaphorical thingies that lie therein.

Now that I think about series having watched it multiple times, I find Hideki rather annoying sometimes with his attitude being somewhat like a typical sore loser lol (e.g. his constant screaming and protection for Chii haha). However, Chobits was a good series to watch with some good fun humour and characters. I liked Ueda's story the most regarding his past, the soundtrack to the series wasn't that bad either, a lot were easy to listen to and fitted in with certain scenes. If you can get over the highly perverted nature of the series and see the real storyline behind it then you'll probably enjoy it.
