Let's see... probably the craziest thing I've done is drive 8 hours on a weekend to pick up the import LD of BGC6: Red Eyes back in '89 or '90. Not that extreme except we weren't going to a store... we went to the dealers house that he was having built at the time. We just couldn't wait for him to mail it to us. XP

It's probably spending the majority of the money that was supposed to pay off the rest of my school fees on buying RahXephon Vol 5 & 6 at Manifest lol. I did manage to pay the school fees in time though.
I get $60 each week from my mum, so I sometimes use it to buy the individual volumes of certain anime series however at the moment I'm spending quite alot on buying original Japanese anime music cd's and singles. My friends seem quite surprised that I'm able to afford the legitimate releases when they tell me I could just download those stuff.
Watched Gundam Seed in one sitting. Don't understand? I watch Gundam Seed episode 1 to 50 without sleeping. I told small breaks to eat and chat for a few minutes, then continue to watch Gundam Seed.
I order my 2040 Perfect Collection through eBay. Back then, I didn't download anime. I was freaking dying for my collection to be deliever to me. I paid 50-60$ for the entire collection. Nothing too crazy.
I don't really do crazy things to get anime. I just watch an absurd amount of anime with a ton of free time I have.
well i sometimes go without things i need so i can have bus money to get to the anime club. i'll probably do the same when madman releases more Lupin movies and Mahou Sensei negima that they licenced.
It's funny that you mentioned that cos I recently had a marathon of Bubblegum Crisis 2040 a few days ago lol. There's some series that when you watch it the first time you'll really enjoy it but when you watch it again it starts to lose its appeal. Then like months or years later you end up rewatching it and find it's still enjoyable as it was the first time you've seen it.
Yes I know you're gonna say 2040 is crap compared to the OVA Lynk XD but I felt I could watch 2040 more easily as it had a far more solid storyline compared to the OVA (even though the OVA was never fully completed anyway) where the stories were connected but were broken into arcs and I just couldn't get into the flow of it.
2040 is good as its own series. But 2040 sucks as a Bubblegum Crisis series, it's as simple as that.
You've read it! You can't unread it!
About as stupid as it gets for me was watching anime one morning and missing the bus to school. No one was home and I wasn't paying attention to time, so when the school phoned about 1pm to ask where I was, I was damn glad they called my home before they called my mom's office.
Also spent my entire stash of money intended for drawing supplies on the Bubblegum Crisis OVAs and spent the next week struggling to meet a deadline for an exam. At least I was well entertained while I tried to work...
Just because it's in the thesaurus doesn't mean it's a good idea.
And why isn't 'dethesaurisation' in the dictionary?
LOL, what anime were you watching that kept you that occupied?
Excel Saga on marathon mode. Great way to start the day

That explains it then (sanity-wise) lol.
