Okay, it took a while, about 35 episodes or so and 46 to be completely hooked, but its official... I'm hopelessly addicted to Bleach. So much so that I couldn't wait for next week's episode any more (I've been watching it one episode at a time on TV here in the US) Consequently, I youtubed Bleach up to episode 59 last weekend. Just couldn't help myself. XD

Yeah, I know... some of the characters are just fluff, some of the battles are way too DBZ like, and plotholes big enough to let out a swarm of hollows happen on a weekly basis. But do I care? Heck no! The characters are fun and varied (if not overly excessive in numbers), the arcs are wide reaching and the tension is deep but never too dark.

And the blood spills like fine wine every episode too. Can't beat that with a zanpakutō.

I stopped watching Bleach a long time ago, i watched up to the fillers then stopped XD
I know the fillers are over now though =P

I like Bleach as well. Wouldn't say I'm addicted (I'll save that title for haruhi) but its one of my favorite animes at the moment. Like you said, I can ignore all the problems with the series because it still entertains me, and thats the most important thing.
