I think this may only be available in the US, but I was just given a 12 month subscription for Netflix for father's day. It's one of those DVD by mail service outfits that sends you DVD's from your queue and then after you've watched it and mailed it back, they send you the next one from the list. I've been trying to fill out my queue now and am up to 60 DVD's, almost all anime titles I've been meaning to watch.

So, does anyone else have Netflix? If so, what's in your queue these days? Anything you recommend that you've seen on there? Some titles I've added are Noir, Kiddy Grade, Black Lagoon and TMoHS (ASOS), along with some other older stuff.

Let's see I use a simular system here in the UK called Lovefilm.com, it not a bad service, but be warned that it isn't a 100% great service. But you do get what you pay for it, just make sure you know how your ranking system work. So you make sure you don't get say Vol 4 before Vol1 of an Anime show as I had when I first logged on.....

They send you the discs in an envelope, and for the love of me, I would rather have a case like that of blockbuster with logo and all, to take away the risk of having a paper slip sleeve not protect against possible scratches or breaking on arrival. Even a jewel case would be fine.

Zip.ca is the Canadian equivalent. I've seen several anime titles, and I'm currently getting through Patlabor 3 now...

the deal is is that you get the video by mail, and if you wish to get a new set of videos you just go to the store and return the videos you got from the mail and pick up a new set from the shop.

Having a no return date sometimes has a sort of "Paid in the subscription" late fee.

I think blockbuster is offering now a sort of either mail or trade in version of all that.
