I never got around to watching the series in order since they were released out of order on purpose. Still, I found highly enjoyable and it quickly became a hit with all the anime fans on the internet. People are going insane about the anime even today even though it end some time ago.

I'm pretty sure I could be considered a Haruhi-ist myself. I watched the anime, then I read all of the translated novels, and then I started to write a fan-fiction about it... yeah, I think that makes me a Haruhi-ist.
