In GoldenEye 007 for the N64 you could attach timed, proximity and remote mines to peoples guns.
I used to be so good at GoldenEye/Perfect Dark that my friends would always make the game 3 against 1... with me being the 1... so anyway, the game was using remote mines and it was a moment where one of my friends caught me laying remote mines and by accident instead of switching to a gun, I threw a remote mine at him which attached to his gun. But after that I switched over to my pistol and got off a few shots which didn't kill him, but did hurt him enough for him to retreat back to get some body armour.
Now he didn't realise that the remote mine was stuck to him, and neither did I until he went back to the area where my other two friends were and one of them says "hey, what the hell is that on your gun?" And being a 4 player split screen game I could see that it was a remote mine...
XD They were all standing close together... so I got out the remote detenator and BOOM! All three dead.
That was the first time we discovered that attaching mines to guns was possible in GoldenEye. This opened up new strategies for me... like attaching proximity or remote mines to ammo boxes and guns on the ground XD eheheh...
