[Geass]

OK, I hope this does not seem as that I am self promoting my own name here ^.^ But there is a new series out there that is definetly worth mentioning.

Code Geass, Made by Sunrise, Bandai and CLAMP, is a new series out there that is gathering up a lot of fans already. Though relatively new, it is already out with 18 (correction 21) episodes, and it seems that it might go for 50 of them, considering how the pacing is similar to that of Eureka Seven. The main bassis of the story is Mecha genre but features a sort of alternate reality to curent world hisotry.

What if England surpressed the American Colonies during the revolution? What if England was able to develope a Mecha so radicly powerfull that it was able to sweep almost 3/4 of the known world by conquest using this mecha?

The mecha that is being spoken of is called a KnightMare (or Knight's Mare if you see the semblance) powerfull, agile and far supperior than any land combat and aquatic vehicle, it is used in annexing countrys for either to serve the Brittainian Empire, or for the minning of the ore called "Sakuradite" a high tensile metal used for parts manufacuring.

Every country that the Britanian Empire casts a shadow over is named in to a new Area. Japan was recently annexed by Britania; Its name, status, honor, pride, and history where striped from it, renamed in to a control zone known as "Area 11" where the japanese end up living in ghettos, or become honorary Britanian citizens by privilege.


The population is also known as Numbers!
