In this thread I'd like people to post up screenshots of games which they felt defined the last generation of home consoles... this thread is limited to games from the following consoles.

Microsoft Xbox
Nintendo GameCube
Sega Dreamcast
Sony Playstation 2

You can post spoilerific material and you can double post if you run into the image limiter. The limit is 21 images per post... which I think includes the use of smilies...

There is one BIG requirement that I want you all to follow though... all of them MUST be shots which use the in-game engine. NO FULL MOTION VIDEO SHOTS.

I was hoping to get down 10 games before anyone else posted, but I couldn't find any high quality shots of Resident Evil 4 that didn't have some gaming sites watermark all over it, bleah.

Resident Evil 4 (Nintendo GameCube)

This screenshot set is different from the last sets. The other ones were direct-feeds from the games, this set, however, are pictures taken of the game running on a CRT TV... actually, these shots are from the Wii version of RE4, but there's no graphical update between the Wii and GCN version... and why would they need to? It's a game that can hold its own against current generation games on the 360 and PS3... only difference is that it's not in HD.
