So is this a shiny shiny movie? XD
Which reminds me, I wonder if any of you hate me for my review of the first movie lol.

@Lynk
Not me, I also think the first movie sucked, but plot wise, I didn't care about the CG and shiny stuff. The plot was so simple that I enjoyed Shirow's manga a hell lot more.
Military Intelligence are two contradictory words
I thought the first movie sucked for everything it did, it's just that I tried not to sound too much of a bastard in that review... If I had to write the review again I would've been A LOT more harsh with it, but I wasn't there to really opinionate, just to tell people what it has.

Me, I loved the 2004 movie! I don't tend to pay much attention to reviews until I've seen it for myself. AVP wasn't so popular due to a lot of bad "reviews" BEFORE it was even released in cinemas, but I love it so much I could probably describe every single scene in detail. (Mind you, I have watched it about 16/17 times! ^_^)
That's cause reviewers get to see the movie before the public do...

Okay, now I've seen Ex Machina... and I'm impressed. I liked the first one... and pretty much love this one. Any BGC 2040 fans have to see this one, because there'll be a scene at the beginning of the movie that might make you think Bubblegum Crisis in CG. XD
There were a couple of obvious plot issues and occasionally the character animation didn't seem as fluid as it could have been, but the quality is getting much, much better in my estimation.
