I'm thinking about picking this one up with the ending of Lucky Star here and Gurren Laggan coming up. Its a comedy about a teacher who is suicidal. Here's the wiki link: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei

So besides reading the plot I don't know a lot about it but it looks pretty good. I think up to episode 6 is subbed, anybody already watching this?

Just watched episode 6 last night. This series keeps getting weirder. Even if you don't get all of the puns i.e. most of the characters' names, it's still a fun series to watch.

I've been watching it, but it's been subbing slowly and I haven't had much time to watch anime lately.

It's a entertaining comedy that many people find great. I don't think it's great myself. You need to get a couple of episodes deeper to be introduced to the entire cast, then decide if you want to follow the anime. There's many Japanese culture references, but you'll run into a couple of anime series references, too.

Episode 7 of 12 just came out. So it's a pretty new series, rougefate.

This is the series that my friend keeps threatening to drop because it's "boring", yet he answers the door wrapped in a brown blanket with his hair brushed over his face, going "Sensei!"

Man I'm thrilled but I cannot access this title. You see I got some illegal things going on, and i can only watch this title if it is finished.

I just watched the first season last week and can't believe I've missed this title for a while now. It's an absolute cracker, the visuals in this series is a lot like Gankutsuou. I really liked episode 6 for some reason where it dealt with the Itoshiki family marriage ritual, most particularly the scene where the girls are watching an old film reel where you hear an old lady's voice explaining the ritual XD.

There's also the scene where one girl sys she can see the future of the world and its eventual destination before random images quickly flash past. Currently watching the second season although I felt the first two episodes were kinda weak.
