Laws of Mecha Anime: (Started and compiled by me)
Numbers laws: These apply only if the specific mech is commonly referred to with the number added on. If only someone whose an Otaku enough to have memorized the serial number knows the number they do not apply. They do apply to both piloted mechs, suits, and androids though.
Zeroth Law: If your mech is referred to with a 0, you likely know more then others and are going to go the way of the dodo.
(ex: MADOX-00, EVA 00)
First Law: If your mech is referred to with a 1, you are likely a main character and going to survive. You are likely heads and shoulders above your other units, even though you don't necessarily know what you're doing.
(ex: Guyver 1, Iczer-1, EVA 01, Core Robot 1, MADOX-01, and SDF-1)
Second Law: You are a arrogant git who harasses other characters and is going to most likely die a horrible death.
(ex. Guyver 2, Iczer-2, EVA Unit 02, Core Robot 2, Balzac, and SDF-2)
Third Law: There is something weird and out of whack about you.
(ex. Guyver 3, EVA Unit 03, and Core Robot 3)
Others:
If you steal a mech you know its designer.
(Gato, Kou, Amuro, Camille, Noal/Ringo…
Should you pilot a mech, no one will recognize you when you wear sunglasses, change your hair style, or happen to be somewhere you are not expected to be.
(Char, Balzac, Gato..)
When you rely on the sheer power of your mech, you are required to get your ass handed to you prior to receiving any further upgrades or learning how to avoid this problem.
(Balzac, D-Boy, Amuro, Kou…

Briareos Wrote:Third Law: There is something weird and out of whack about you.
(ex. Guyver 3, EVA Unit 03, and Core Robot 3) Don't forget Iczer 3. She was wacked out too.
Iczer 1 and Iczer 2 were hard warriors. Iczer 3 just wanted to play.
More laws of mecha anime
- When piloting your mecha, even if know one can hear you, you must shout out all the attacks.
Eg. Dividing Driver!!!!! Goldion Hammer!!!!! Broken Phantom!!!!! (Gowgiagar)
And when you do these attacks, you feel as scene of divaju as it the same repeating animation
Kids are born natural at piloting mechas. You could be some battle harden vertain in with mecha and an impressive miltary carreer. However you just plain suck when your up against some kid that really has no idea of what is really going on.
- Most Gundam Series, MADOX 01, Overman King Gainer.

Hey I have some arguments:

3. Law of Sonic Amplification, First Law of Anime Acoustics
In space, loud sounds, like explosions, are even louder because there is no air to get in the way.
Argument: "I do not agree with this, cause sound is created through vibration of air. How come explosions will be louder if there is no air to vibrate."
Counter Argument:
1. Law of Metaphysical Irregularity
The normal laws of physics do not apply.
4. Law of Constant Thrust, First Law of Anime Motion
In space, constant thrust equals constant velocity.
Argument: "Again I do not agree, Constant thrust means increase velocity. In space there's no air and without air there will be no friction that will slow down the thrust, even if the thrust is cut off the velocity will remain at the point of velocity where the thrust stops, for example if a space craft initiate thrusting and reach mach10 (10x the speed of sound) and suddenly cut-off the thrusters the the craft will remain in mach10 unless the pilot activate an anterior thrusters to slow down. Like in the example unless outside force such as gravitational pull or other thrusters will take effect the velocity will remain at constant to the point of the maximum speed reached by the thrust."
Counter Argument:
1. Law of Metaphysical Irregularity
The normal laws of physics do not apply.
Watch out for more arguments.
Here's my arguement... if it's not possible in this reality, it is in another
You've read it! You can't unread it!
From Devart but here is the gist of it.
1. Something about small characters getting furious and beating bigger characters
2. they never go out of ammunition
3. the hero never gets hit or something
4. tons of stuff that they think before dying
5. don't remember, it was supposed to be a joke with wooden swords cutting through metal or something
6. whenever they get hit, it'll get shown by at least three different cameras
7. they all have shiny super powers
8. fatal wounds are not enough in order to kill some of them
9. whenever they yell "HENSHIN", everything else stops so they can transform/change/morph/wear suit
10. chicks always prefer the tougher guys (that's a regular world's rule as well)
11. minimal clothing is enough to protect anime chicks from damage
12. objects appear from outta nowhere
13. they use stupid disguises and nobody recognizes them
Aplifiing arguement:
"Lynk knows all. However Scar nails Lynk to floor, for almost no reason."
anyway. these things are funny as shit.
Scar is the mad smaller anime character getting angry at the bigger guy? XD
Lol at Piccolo XD
I'll be buying FCLC then. Thanks

Some of my laws:
* Law of Why-The-Heck-Can't-You-Die - When someone gets burnt, the don't turn into soot. Instead, they get charred and can return to normal by a simple shake.
* Law of Band-aids Heal Everything - When a person gets hit, a band-aid will appear without having to go to the nurse's office.
* Law of Blocked Sinuses - When a person sleeps, they blow bubbles out of their nose (mainly for animes from the 1980's).

I think ive seen a One Piece comic with Zoro and Chopper in and Zoro is trying to tell Chopper that band aids heal anything XD
All laws has loops and all laws have exemption...
But the laws about otaku's is simply uncomprehensable.
so true...
There are a few episodes in One Piece where Luffy puts on an Afro and it gets a GREAT reaction from everyone XD

Well, I don't watch myself sleep, but I'm pretty sure that the other two things don't happen, unless someone around me has a band-aid in hand.

Here are two of my anime rules:
1. Blonde-haired male anime characters tend to be flirtatious with women.
Examples:
AD Police (TV) - Hans Kleif
Full Metal Panic! - Kurz Weber
There are probably others that I can't think of at the moment...
2. In anime, it is ridiculously easy to piss women off. When this happens, it is normal for them to form what could best be described as monstrous facial expressions. This is commonly followed by a physical beating of the person that pissed them off.
At least, that's how I see it.

So how is this different from real life? XP
Just because it's in the thesaurus doesn't mean it's a good idea.
And why isn't 'dethesaurisation' in the dictionary?

Male Mad Scientists in Mecha Anime are high on the list of people you don't mess with, as they always have an Ace up their sleeve and back up plan to accomplish the Plan that goes well beyond the point where anyone else would have been defeated, including death.
Ex: Dr. Stingray (Bubblegum Crisis), Professor Saotome (Getter Robo: Armageddon), Kano (Exaxxion), (Hades Project Zeorymer), Freeman (Tekkaman), (Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure), etc.

32. Law of Follicular Permanence
Hair in anime is pretty much indestructable, and can resist any amount of meteorological conditions, energy emissions, physical abuse, or explosive effects and still look perfect. The only way to hurt someone's hair is the same way you deal with demons... with bladed weapons!
The law was broken by the Devil may cry series.
It's the episode when Lady had a showdown with Dante's former partner. In that episode some scenes had obiously shown that hair can be damaged by bullets and of coarse HE granades. (Sorry I cant recall what episode that was.)
