My favorite Final Fantasy for some strange reason is still Final Fantasy VIII. I loved X, X-2, and XII but I just cant help but love Squall and Rinoa lol Call me crazy but i think Squalls a hottie!

FF VII, my first final fantasy game. Too bad I don't have the motivation to play it anymore, after saving before weapon came out of the sea, I saved the second he attacked, when i died, i loaded back in, but weapon would not come out of the sea so it screwed the game up royally. -_- I've been playing Final Fantasy III on my DS lite every now and then, that is fun though the storyline is blah right now at the part i'm on...have no clue what to do or where to go, i have a viking ship.

I love almost all the FF's ever released! Only FFIX that i just can't stand.

FFVII has a special place in my heart (OH RLY? looks like no one could say that, eh?), FFX is beautiful in every aspect, FFX-2 is girlie like and not made at all by the FFteam but fun as hell (and the best battle system in my humble opinion), FFV is ok but it's not on my hate or love list, and FFI, II and III are just... classic XD Oh, and FFXI i haven't played. And I'm on my way on FFXII. And DYING to see FFXIII

BUT I must say that FFIV and FFVI are my favs.

FF9 was my favorite i think but i havnt completed any FF game before XD

Apparently FF9 is more like the older FF games before it XD
It was a long time ago that i played it but i think i liked it more than other FFs because the all the characters couldnt learn magic and summon XD
Oh yeah it didnt have lots of guns to XD

Overall, FFIII is my favorite, especially the DS remake, although I have a serious soft spot for FFV, which I think manages the job system in the best possible way. And damn are chemists fun to play! XD

FFVI was the first that I played. It was okay. But, I've played everyone after that, except IX, and I have to say that my fave is VII. And, is it me or is XII probably the worst one ever made!!

FFVII, the first one I played, hands down. I used to have the music and got really nostalgic every time I heard them. FFVIII was fun as well, but the characters tended to annoy me as much as entertain me. If I had a copy of FFVII that didn't play upside down and backwards (graphical glitches ftw) I'd be playing it right now.

wows. XD FFVII was awesome, and its spin offs were great. But im holding strong on FFVIII. I think its just that i like the idea of SeeD and Gardens lol. i mean, i'd never think up something like that. FFX left me with tears almost. How could they make Tidus leave Yuna!!?? and then they brought the brilliant FFX2 out!!! DUN DUN DUNN And they were reunited FFXIII I still have yet to play mwahaha. Wait...i skipped FF9 XD That had a good story too and good graphics, mostly.

If you have enough patience to try playing something in full japanese, get the FFX-2 International Version (the only thing it has as international are Yuna's songs in English. That i so don't like =p), go for it =D it has tons of extra things, game modes, and even an extra ending, hoorraaaay! XD

I don't like the idea of cutting out the original Japanese tracks, etc, from videogames either. There are very few that actually keep the Japanese intact while still providing an English alternative (or the other way around, however you wanna see it).

that's very true. And the original songs are by Koda Kumi and I so damn love that woman u_u' but anyway, i liked what capcom did on Rockman X6, that in the Megaman version, they kept ALL the audio in japanese and put subtitles. But it the Megaman collection, they cut that and simply put nothing in the place! so, no voices, no songs, no nothing. At least the pc versions of the Rock games let you chose the language, like you can in all sonic games (luv).

I AGREE!!! Japanese songs are so much better in there own language. And in most anime and games i prefer japanese songs. Like in BGCT2040, they screwed up such great songs XDD If i had to choose a favorite english version of any song in that anime I'd have to choose Bukkirabouna ai ni Oboretai. Its better in Japanese but hey, they did "ok" in english lol As for the rest of the good songed anime that have been slaughtered in english, my sympathy be with them for i am quite annoyed by it too =P

I really liked the english version of Valkyrie Profile (Haven't played Silmeria much unfortunately, but the cast is exactly the same, and i love Lennet's voice, oh office Jenny! hahaha XD). Xenogears was the worst dub i've ever seen (and yep, it's my favorite game ever).

There are some games from the Tales series that are also pretty good.

I agree much with lynk. Leave the duo channel. Let the player decide. This will please everyone.
