Anyone else read the ROD Manga?

I've just picked up Vol 1 and its gone a great way to explain the relationship between Yomiko Readman and Nenene Sumiregawa from both the OVA and the TV show. Its different in its style of animation but being a manga I surpose that the artist behind it.

Yeah the manga does give us some stuff between Yomiko and Nenene, but it's also worth noting that the anime and manga are set in different universes.

How So? I'v only seen Vol one of the Manga and Vol One and Two of the TV? To me they look very simuler...

When the Read or Die OVA was being created, it was decided that it would sit in its own universe to allow for more freedom in story. To add to that, ROD the TV is the sequel to Read or Die OVA and combines the characters from the two ROD manga's Read or Die and Read or Dream into the same timeline. Generally most of the character brackground information you find in the manga's pretty much fits into the scheme of things with the two animes.

It's pretty good - I'm not quite sure... Well, Yomiko seems a little ... crazier, if that is at all possible. And what's her name, the eldest sister... er... um... Michelle, that's it, right? Her addiction to books and lack of common sense seems to be far more obvious than in the anime.
