In the mid 90s there were rumours of a new Bubblegum Crisis series in the works that we now know as Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040. As BGC fans investigated they discovered that an AD Police series was also being created along side BGC2040, this series would later come to be known as Parasite Dolls. An early preproduction picture shows that the art style for Parasite Dolls evolved and was very different from what we ended up with. It was also thought that this series would be based on existing characters and that Leon McNichol had blonde hair in it.
