In 2020, the organisation created to deal with the growing VOOMER crimes was dubbed the Advanced Police, AD Police for short.
As the current crime wave in Genom City escalates, pressure mounts against the AD Police to stop the growing number of mutating cyborgs known as VOOMERs. Throughout this crisis, the personal relationships between members of the elite squad of robot hunters are strained to the breaking point. Special Officer Kenji Sasaki makes an uncommon leap of faith when he reluctantly accepts Hans Kleif as his new partner. Added to the mix is a crime syndicate known as the Backers. Led by the mysterious Naycen Mason, with Liam Fletcher as their front man, the Backer Syndicate orchestrate a string of VOOMER related crimes and take the AD Police head on.
Through all of this Kenji must still fight his own demons if he is ever going to survive the threats that face the advanced police unit. The AD Police must get to the bottom of this techno-mystery and keep the VOOMERs and the Backer Syndicate from turning Genom City into a high-tech wasteland.
