I discovered Samantha Jade a few days ago on Video Hits where they played the video for her single "Turn Around". She instantly caught my attention with the song and her voice that I had to search her up for more info.

To my surprise...she's Australian! She moved to the US about three years ago with her family to break into the American music market and now it appears it's about to happen with her album being released later this year. She had previously recorded "Step Up" for the soundtrack of the same movie title while a couple of other songs have also been leaked. She's also been working with a few producers like Darkchild, Sean Garrett and Timbaland so I'm looking forward to hearing her album as I've liked quite few Darkchild-produced songs.
