I was wondering, which console have you actually owned in your lifetime as a gamer? After thinking about it, I've only ever bought Nintendo consoles though I have played all of the others through friends and such.

My first console was Sega Genesis. After that I got a Playstation. Then came Xbox, and now the Wii. I still own all those consoles.

As for portable systems, I still have a Gameboy Pocket , Gameboy Color, and Nintendo DS lite.

Don't know why but I've never sold any of my consoles.

I gave my original Nintendo 64 to my nephew and sold off all of my games... but recently I bought a N64 (expansion pak included) and have rebought a few of the games I had before... I also think I should find myself another GBA SP since I have a GBA to GCN cable that's not being used XD

Most anime based games actually suck... well they don't suck, it's just that the only real appeal to them is the fact that they're based on an anime... the gameplay itself, most of the time, is pretty mediocre and not that great. It's an unfortunate truth, they're just like movie-based games.

But despite not actually owning any of Sega's systems or Sony's or Microsoft's, I still end up playing all the games worth playing on those consoles XD

I'm not a nintendo fan i never really had many of the originals games, if it wasnt for pokemon i doubt i would have ever gotten any system after that. and i've gotten bored with damn near every ds game I own.

I think M$ makes the best gaming consoles, the capabilities of the system and the graphics are awesome, but I'll admit there are shitty games out for it, but the same goes for every system (except PS3 all those games suck balls)
I just think the WII is just a remodled game cube with a fancy ass controler. same with the DS all the games coming out for it suck after I got Pokemon Pearl I doubt there will be anything worth buying for it. and my self being a huge pokemon fan, its somewhat of a disapointment. they could have done more

if i was a M$ fanboy i wouldn't have a PS, PS2 or a PSP(and I LOVE MY PSP), and I have a buddy who has a PS3 and the games that are PS exclusives that are out now, are crap and everything else is multi platform. the PS3 is fucked. and I used to be against M$ for the longest time it was all about the PS2. all I'm saying is Kingdom hears 3 and FF13 better come out by the holiday season or nobody is going to want it

the games do suck, and you can see whats coming out on Playstations website, nothing too remarkable It has the potential to be a great console, it about a year or so, I'm just saying it wont last that long. if they held onto FF12 and released it this spring on the ps3. it would have boosted sales so its not as much in the red as it is

there are good games on the 360 Gears of War, Crackdown, Burnout Revenge, Lost Planet. Rainbow Six:Vegas, Forza 2 is coming out in a few weeks, halo 3 in NOV. Blue Dragon is coming out sometime... not to mention the Fall dashboard update that will have the tivo function.

but by the summer follwoing its release there where games worth buying for the system. I got my 360 june 06. my reason for waiting was becasue I was in school and on a budget
