Battlestar Galactica tells the story of Humanities struggle for survival after suffering an apocalyptic conflict engulfing twelve worlds leaving a small fleet of less than 50,000 souls the last surviving remnant of a once great civilisation, led and defended by a single ageing warship, humanity is pursued across the Galaxy by their own creations gone awry the Cylons who have now evolved to the point where they can mimic and seek to replace their creators, all the while desperately seeking the last outpost of Humanity in hopes for survival, Earth.

Battlestar Galactica is without a doubt one of the most compelling Series to date, from its fast paced action to its exciting and sometimes gritty story to its depiction of Humanity in all its aspects.

There are to be honest times within the series where the lines between who is good and who is evil become blurred to the point where I as the viewer cant help but think just who is the bad guy, the Cylons for attempting to wipe out the human race, or Humanity who’s Darker side is being shown more and more often.

Spanning 3 seasons and a 3 hour long mini movie as a pilot, Battlestar Galactica is one series you cant miss.

So in short... Space battles, Evil robots, Sexy women and more death destruction and mayhem than you can shake a stick at... Well thats the reasons I love the series.... what are your thoughts

I don't know about anyone else, but whenever I watch the new BSG, I'm always reminded of SDF Macross... which is probably what attracts me to it the most actually lol. Not the entire premise, just enough of the little things for me to notice.

I've seen everything uptil the end of the second season of the series... and have to wait for season 3! Dammit it's so hard waiting x.x

Hawk... I have spent almost half an hour tweeking the first post, you see I like to take my time to make sure I get what I post look right.

and do you have a problem with what I typed because aside from the basic info on the series in the first section that was my freaking opinion.

Oh and BTW as far as Im aware the Caprica spinoff hasent even started being made yet.

Okay, as I said when I e-mail Damatee last night I’m afraid that I never finished my post correctly due to a phone call, What I had written was a rough draft and plan because of my Dyslexic. So when I came back I posted it and before I realised what I had done and had the chance to change it, Lynk jumped all over it. Well to me this was what I had originally planned on doing….

Dude there really no need to advertise its description here.... Because most of us here are all probably aware of this great show. It gone far beyond it barriers of the Original show, all those cheesy sci-fi sets. What I really want to know is what you think of it because that what you really needed to discusses Damatee, Where are you Season 2, Season 3? It getting very interesting with the well written plot scripts you’re almost wondering who is one of the Mysterious unknown 5 Models of Cylons.
Their so much in it, it almost makes is make it sound a little more human by watching so much of it.
What I really wanted to show you was a more up to date picture to show you how they all evolved from that season one picture, because none of them are really the same anymore from that shot.

Plus let’s not forget that new spin-off that their planning Caprica, it sounds like it going to be an interesting idea on how to understand those early Cylons and why they revolted against their masters. It’s has me screaming ‘Why haven’t they started it yet!’

In the original Starbuck was marooned on a planet with a malfunctining Cylon Centurion. He deprogramed parts of it and taught it to think independently, and even taught it to play cards.

Later on Starbuck found a woman (companion as dubed by the cylon centurion), and from the aprts of the crashed viper and cylon raider ship, cobbled toghether a ship. Problem was it only fit 1 person. The new wife of Starbuck, now with child, was the one that left on the ship, at the insistance of Starbuck. The fate of Starbuck and the Cylon are unknown in the entire series after that. And I have no clue where the woman went.

I....don't....know. You give a good point.


supposed rumors that starbuck came back in the original series as the blonde boy that advises the galactica in the ettempted resurection of the show called "Galactica 1980"

we have to meet any semblance of the ships of light in the new series (more like people in light), so we can guess that maybe starbuck was either dead for sure, will come back as a sort of ghost or being like Daniel Jackson from SG-1 does when he is ascended, or is actually taken in by that heavy raider she was chaising and becomes sort of pet for the cylons.

but, it seems that she was signed on for up until that episode, and nothing more for the rest of how long the show lasts.

beside if though, the show has been making a point that the fleet is only about 3 jumps away from reaching Earth, or the area where Earth is supposed to be.

Right now though, most relationships on the show are really fraked up.


1. Dee is leaving Apollo because of the trial
2. Dady Adama is no longer acknowledging his son
3. StarBuck is dead
4. Kary (chief Tirols wife) is looking really suspiciouse since the lawyer bombs episode.
5. Ti is just as mesed up as ever, and he's starting to hear radios going off in his head.
6. And Baltar is going even more nutters
7. Six is going to go as about as nuts as Baltar

Regarding the Starbuck issue
I have ever since I watched 'Maelstrom' been wondering whether or not Starbuck is actually dead since for a while there have been subtle hints throughout the series that there has been something big going on in the background and it revolves around Kara and the Cylons, specifically the final five, also the big ass flash of light in her cockpit just before her viper blew up leaves me wondering
