I doult anyone here plays Counter Strike... But I thought I would at lest ask.... It's really gone through some improvements of late, new maps have made this on-line multi player game very active again. And the amount of wierd crap you see happaning you won't believe, however I don't want to sound like Rob in Alt-Ctrl-Del who seems to be a Counter Strike Fan-boy. So I'll end this now and await some to responed....

I would play it all day if I had the game, but buy HL2 and CS:S is too much for me. I'm trying to earn enough money for HL2, thats my main and only target for this year. Anyway CS isn't that fun when you're playing with pros.

I have it, though I got bored of it a few months back, it was just the same old maps over and over again, although I have heard from a few people that it's got better so I might check it out again. Been playing custom maps on my clan's CS1.6 server over the last few days, still a great game.

Well, you do know that HL2 and CS:S come in the same package right? Or at least they should...that's how it was when I got it. So you only have to save up for HL2.

Unless you already knew that and now I'm just talking out of my ass. In that case, ignore me. XD

do they come together? I checked on steam and you gotta buy them individually, I haven't seem one single HL2 boxset this whole time where I live.....not that I looked that much, the big gameshops aren't near.

edit: HL2 and CS:S comes together in some special package, I think

Well you do know that steam do bring out new maps out as well, I just logged on this morning and they telling me they plan to release a source verisons of the original maps of the original verison.

Mind you, it has been a while since I actually playied it, I been logging onto Day of Defeat to much to kick Wehrmacht ass as much as I can with my trusty SMG..... Hasta la vista, Wehrmacht

I think CSS can get boring at times, though the new skins are pretty good. I like the new map " Nuke " and thats about it. I just get fed up of the bitching on it. " Omg, why didny u rush garage n00b? ".

in aus CS:S came with HL2, but they dont come together in the game of the year edition i dont think. the boxes with the characters faces on them are the joint ones. they say Includes CS:S or something of the sort on the back.


ive been enjoying CS:S since the Warcraft3 mod came out on it. god i love that mod.
