Ouran High School Host Club

I happened to stumble onto this series during a screening of it at my anime club in Melbourne Uni and after watching two episodes of it, this looks like an interesting series to continue watching. It's a school love comedy and the characters all seem to be funny in certain aspects, certainly the of twins Kaoru and Hikaru lol although they seem very intimate with each other XD.

The other characters are also enjoyable to watch, such as Mori-Kun/Takashi Morinozuka (the guy that always has some sort of blank expression on his face lol) always carrying Mitsukuni Haninozuka (aka Honey) around. Kyouya Ootori (the one with the glasses) looks pretty sly lol but he's actually quite smart with analysing different situations. The main character Haruhi is kinda like Kazuki from Getbackers only the genders are switched where Haruhi looks like a guy but is actually a girl XD.

This series only came out recently like at the start of April so I was wondering if anyone else has caught on with this anime?

Got to love Tamaki and his ridiculous behavior and comments through the earlier episodes. Obviously the other characters are just as enjoyable.Hikaru and Kaoru love to drive the women crazy with their twin love, but they're pretty sarcastic the majority of the time. Mori only speaks when there's a point to be made. Just watch episode three when he says just one word that makes Haruhi care about leaving the host club. Obviously, everyone loves the behide the scenes king of the host club Kyouya. Honey is just a cute little boy, nothing much else to say about that kid at the moment.

Very funny series. I'm really enjoying it. One of my favorite new series released during this month. A ton of anime series have been released this month and this is one of the few series that stands out of the new batch of anime this month.

HAHAHA, don't also forget Haruhi's first ever kiss. Love it how they show the arrows pointing to objects that are important to the scenes second later XD.

Also Haruhi's reaction to Tamaki "protecting" her from the physical examination and then Tamaki's face reacting to her wrath rofl.

Haruhi is totally ftw. She's my av and was in my sig too, but apparently we like our sigs thinner here.

Can't wait for the next ep.

Watched up to episode 5 of this series now. Still as funny as the previous episodes, I laughed a lot in episode 4 with that girl from France and her infatuation with Kyouya.

Episode 5 was also funny with the twins fighting but it's kinda crap now that they've dyed their hair different colours, they were fine the way they were but I guess it's to do with the plot that they did it.

Also Mori appears to be saying less and less each episode XD, I sure hope there's gonna be an episode focusing on him soon because he's a pretty interesting character (especially with those blank expressions on his face, I crack up at those).

I dunno about that. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya could be bidding for the best series of this season. Not sure if you want to count School Rumble: Second Semster. Regardless, Ouran High School Host Club right up there with these comdey animes.

I'm finding it hilarious how most of the people I know who are currently watching this series seem to forget Haruhi's gender. They all seem to be shocked when they realise it when it was revealed in the very first episode.

Also I'm glad to see the twins reverting back to their original hair colour in the latest episode, they looked just kinda weird with blue and pink lol and when is Mori gonna start talking more? There needs to be an episode focusing on him because he's beginning to turn out pretty useless to the series other than a blank facial expression lol.

Haruhi made an obvious comment during the last episode.

"Does she have those things setup everywhere?"

Something like that. She's obviously refer to that machine that Renge uses to make her enterance to the host club. It's funny that she disappears just as fast as she appears. Totally got to love Renge.

Lol, I was caught off guard that Renge was cosplay as a character from Rah.

Episode 9 went even further with the comedy lol, I was laughing really hard at the members of the host club to how they attempted to persuade Haruhi to stay in the club.

Kyouya looked the most hilarious in those clothes and Honey is probably the 2nd funniest in those costumes.

Episode 10 was a good one. We finally get to see Haruhi's house xP.

I was surprised about finding out her father works at an Okama bar, but it adds more comedy to the fact that his personality is just like Tamaki's. His first meeting with Tamaki was hilarious, how he just threw him into the wall and went to talk to Haruhi, I couldn't stop laughing at how that just happened. xDD

Towards to the end, he seems rather jealous of Tamaki... this series is developing alot more than just the odd host club conundrums.

Also, it's nice to see them out of their school uniforms once in awhile, just like the beach episodes

I was also surprised with Haruhi's father, is he an okama? XD I gotta say though the dream Tamaki had of Haruhi's house was laughable, specially the sushi packet and his visions of the "cups" she has.
