Well the question is when and how you arrived in the crazy forums of TACC.

For me was probibly some time in 2004.
My friend(Seb) got very obbsessed with BGC: Tokyo 2040 and Nene in particular after seeing it on SCI-FI and me and my other friend kinda got into it to. Seb then directed us to this forum and we made a random topic which i have to say was ultimatly nooby as i remember and we got banned. I went and emailed a long apology or something to Lynk and we got to stay.(Thanks for that Lynk XD)

BGC tokyo 2040 was playing on SBS, googled for some stuff and came across the BGC top 100 or whatever it was called. followed the link to the #1 site, which was here.
poked around the forums for a bit, and eventully registerd (first forum i joined too)

long time ago, it was the only still running site for BGC, there were like two others that were even acceptable as good sites, and one closed and the other was never updated and felt dead. I was researching BGC stuff, I dont recall exactly what.

A long time ago, when the planets and their moons aligned I happened to be reading a set of fanfiction. The "Megatokyo Exchange" led me to an author page which in turn led me to a now defunct aic forum. I ended up heading over to a cached page and clicking a link in someones sig. It then took me to this place, where I thought the forums looked pretty stupid, so I read up on the fiction they had. Wondering who the hell these insanely deep and disturbing (I read bubblegum pink first) people were I registered in the forums. That was a long time ago.

Eh, whatever it was, I stopped by the forums, registered, and promptly went into lurk mode. (Hey, I was shy back then!) I finally started posting regularly a few (okay, 6 or 7) months later and fell in love with the place.

Yeah it took me awhile to invest in a forum for BGCC, I had two short lived forums that were on someone elses server, but the third one that we all know started cause I finally invested in oayed hosting.

Ahh, I never posted about how I discovered the old BGCC site and forum here. I originally first saw 2040 sometime mid-2001 on SBS (episode 14 I think) but I wasn't that interested in anime at the time (and I didn't know what anime was either) so I never continued watching it.

When it was re-aired over 3 nights as a marathon later in the year, I happened to watch 90% of the series seeing how it was during the school holidays at the end of the year and I stayed up really late to see what was on TV. I got hooked with the series that I decided to record it on tape, ironically started at episode 14 as well. A few months later I decided to do some research on the series and found the (now defunct) BGC Top 100 websites which lead me to BGCC and The Perils of Nene-chan.

Both had quite a vast amount of information and pictures so I lurked around those two sites for a while (maybe around 1 year) before Perils of Nene-chan closed down. After that, I searched up for other BGC sites but most of the ones I found were either dead or under construction at the time, leaving BGCC the only active site that I knew. I lurked around the BGCC forum for like a month before I decided to join in the discussions without introducing myself at all XD and I'm still here today.

I got a suggestion to look up BGC from an really old friend (we cut contacts after a big fight)

I was looking for BGC material and ended up here, but I have no idea WHEN exactly I joined though lol
