Hey I totally agree with you, it been in the news here that soliders and armed service men are quiting because they feeling their being called onto much, too many deployments not enough down time between them. Lack of decent equipment and having to buy their own.... MOD need to get their head out of the sand and do a proper job.... raise the pay to make it a little easier and have enough equipment in the field. And stop losing these top secert Laptops!!!

So kyubi-san told me about these forums with the stuck up people and weird mods that ruled with an iron fist. I decided to see for myself the tyranny of these horrible people. After finding the setup and eventual signup and join process to be exactly like c3f I found also that that's where the similiarities end. Every thread is dedicated to the OVER analysis of anime. After only 2 posts I was greeted with this as a response:

Needles to say I was taken aback. Almost every single post contains a rant and single degredation of another user, and Robot kiai was scrutinized almost four differen't times for being quote: "A big retarded bleeding split bitch" What the hell do people still post there for? rude assholes. If this isn't the best reason in the world to get new users here at the crisis center , then I don't know what is. Renew your effort and recruit some of these hapless souls!

It was funny, cause after my initial obnoxious post as Android 1202KYC Kiai the mods started to warm up, its just that there are so many closed minded people there that that didn't really matter. I've never ever read posts on a board that seemed that... well... ignorant. Granted there are a great deal of genuine people there, but they just over analyse everything, from their own topics to religion, to just plain anything. Nothing seems fun, and there's no sense of togetherness what so ever.

So true. I joined there Aug 2005, and I never had a casual conversation with any of the mods or older members. I get along fine with the "freshmen" though. AA was able to do something about the Internet and anime that previously , only a dictatorial government could do: take away the fun.

Still, I owe AA two things:
1. It was my first anime forum. Very traumatic (I make my first review and I get "God, that's so horrible in many ways.").
2. I clicked someone's siggy there and *tananantanan* ! It was linked to C3F, so here I am ^^
