So many to choose from... Top 5:
All the Way - Kino's Journey
Scramble - School Rumble
Bye Bye My Crisis - Bubblegum Crisis
Super Drive - Gravitation
Ru-ru-ru-russian Roulette - The Dirty Pair
I never really thought this would start to become one of my favourites but the Sakura Kiss theme for Ouran High School Host Club is pretty nice to listen to at the moment.
The Cloud Age Symphony theme for Last Exile is great, but I haven't heard any of the other LA themes yet.
groovin' magic and stardust tears are the opening and closing songs to gunbuster 2.
everyone should listen!
I may have to change my answer...I've had Kukui's Hikari No Rasenritsu (The Spiralling Melody of Light), the ED from Rozen Maiden - Traumend on repeat for several days now =|
I'll change my last post, I just got a fav one, Rise from GITS XD
Military Intelligence are two contradictory words
I've been rocking out to Kirameku Namida Wa Hoshi Ni (the second OP from Fate Stay Night), Shissou (the ED from Ouran High School Host Club), and RIDE ON SHOOTING STAR from FLCL.
Lonely In Gorgeous by Tommy February6 (Opening theme for Paradise Kiss) is starting to get stuck in my head lol.
I learnt my lesson a week or so ago to not watch any J-pop videoclips ever again.

On my MP3 player I have the themes from-
Opening of Excel Saga
English opening from CowBoy Bebop
Opening of Ghost in the Shell : Stand Alone Complex 1st gig (havnt seen 2nd gig so I dont know if the themes are the same)
and I know it doesnt calssify as an anime, but I have the theme from Teen Titans by Puffy... the full theme cos the guitar rift rocks!
Did you watch Yatta Lynk XD
Ive never seen Gundam Seed Destiny but the OST's make me want to see it. It has some of the best Japanese classical music for a anime ive ever heard and also some very peaceful calming songs. One of my favorites would probibly be Shinkai no Kodoku. There is also a instrumental version. The normal song is very calming and nice and then this version is like a little slower and more sad. My favorite for a long time is Shinjirareba Koso also from GSD:OST. I also like Shiro's Long Tale from Wolf's Rain OST another violin song =P
As you can see i like Japanese classical music but i also like many other genres of music i just tend to be a very chilled person =)
Inner Universe-GITS:SAC OST is the song i think you mean Auth i like that song to =P
Chimasterwang Wrote:Inner Universe-GITS:SAC OST is the song i think you mean Auth i like that song to =P

I've been into Pray by Tommy Heavenly6 , the OP for Gintama... I love this song so hardcore! Haven't listened to an OP theme for so long in awhile, not since Kirameku Namida wa Hoshi ni by Tainaka Sachi, the 2nd OP for fate/stay night, haha.
Other favourites...
LIFE - Yui, Bleach 5th ED
Hishoku no Sora - Mami Kawada, Shakugan no Shana 1st OP

Can't help but listen to Hishoku no Sora by Kawada Mami a lot lately, it's a really catchy song and is the 1st opening theme to Shakugan no Shana.

I loved "Say Yes" from BGC, Vision is awesome! I also liked the music video that accompanied it during the opening sequence. "Say Yes! Let's go!"
Also enjoyed "Riding in Your Valkyrie" from Macross II, that played during the concert viewed by Ishtar when she was trying to observe Earth culture. This song would play throughout the series, so I kind of see it as a theme. I like all Macross music in general (original Macross, Plus, II), but this particular track was a big favorite.
Finally, The Vision of Escaflowne theme was excellent stuff, can't complain with Yoko Kanno's work.
That's all I can think of at the moment!

@Milky: Riding in your valkyrie was probably the tune that introduced me to anime ost's. Good tune.
I was in the trainstation the other and heard the other day and heard the intro to full metal alchemist. It was right then and there that I realised how popular the anime and mange had gotten in japan.

MEGA BUMP
Right now its definitely Hare Hare Yukai, the ending theme for Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, by Hirano Aya. I've been listening to the whole ost for the series a lot recently, I really enjoy it.
The "Spaceship Minerva" from Seed Destiny, and the "ArchAngel" theme from Seed Destiny.
Ship themes are fun.
Favorite Anime theme?
Hmm...that's a hard one. For me, it's either "Break Free" from Blue Gender,
the BGC 2040 opening theme, or the Bleach opening theme.
hmmmmm thats a tough one seeing i like quite a few, choosing a favourite can be difficult but if i had to ... its either Madoromi no Rinne (Utawarerumono/the one being sung END theme) or The Slayers Next opening theme (second series).
on a side note: im hunting down the name - artist for the ending and opening themes for Inukami
Reviving this old thread, I'm currently listening to several anime theme's right now, but a few of my favorites:
Kawada Mami - "Joint" from Shana II
Olivia - "Wish" from Nana
BeforU - "Guilty Sky" from Claymore
Shounen Kamikaze - "Winder" from Over Drive
Ishikawa Chiaki - "Uninstall" from Bokurano

Ive been listening to:
Shiro Sagisu - Komm, süsser Tod(The End of Evangelion)
Bana - Shell(Witch Hunter Robin OP)
I got Lilium OP version but havnt listened to it much yet =P
Heh, I don't know if anyone has the obscurity factor in their sixth sense, but for me its these four and I'm somewhat old school now that I look through my collection...
Anime Ja Nai aka "This is not Anime"
Ai Senshi aka "Soldiers of Sorrow"
Itsu ka Sora ni Todoite aka "Reach Out to the Sky Someday"
Tobe! Gundam aka "Fly! Gundam"
Bonus Points for knowing the origins of teh songs! NO Google!
