For those of you who don't know, Reggie, fullname: Reginald Fils-Aime, aka "The Reginator" is Nintendo's Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing... By now you're asking yourself, so what's so good about some marketing guy who sits behind a desk?
Reggie shot to fame in May of 2004, with the opening line of Nintendo's E3 press conference: "My name is Reggie. I'm about kicking ass, I'm about taking names, and we're about making games." He gained a cult following on the Internet soon after, when following the conference, many images and flash animations of him spread around the web. Reggie is considered by some to be responsible for revamping the company's public relations in North America, leading many fans and members of the press to dub his arrival the "Reggielution."
He's not just some guy who sits behind a desk, he's always ready to answer any question and he speaks the blunt truth about certain issues such as the general failure of the GameCube and the facts behind why Sony and Microsoft are in the videogame industry.
He's popular amongst the fanboys because of these reasons... and below is a link to a video of him appearing at the Nintendo World Store in New York... he's surrounded by Nintendo fans and is answering all the big questions from regular people off of the street.
