Eow! Since I'm a lover of all things happy and fun (not!)... or rather, all things random (like cookies!)... I'm posting a new thread!
So, how bout we post the stuff we do everyday, but it's gotta be something out of the ordinary (for you; like maybe you live in Antartica and you eat a gallon of ice cream in one sitting, man that'd be ...strange...)
Me... recently I've learned to make real pizza (you know, not just like buying a crust and putting junk food on it then cramming it all in the oven)... someday I'll make cookies too! And I'll give everyone an endless supply!
Anyways, this is something I never thought I'd do coz I've never been the girly-girl type, but I've found I can sew stuffed toys and cook and bake without even batting an eyelash :P
'Nuff bout me. How bout you guys? ^^

Trying Real Japanese Cooked Sushi.......
I'm still trying to heal my burned taste buds, Damn that Wasabi is hot stuff....... HOT!!!!!!

Korean Gimbab is pretty much sushi, but with cooked vegis and stuff. Delicious. You think Wasabi's hot? Try Kimichi. Absolutely one of the hottest foods I've ever eaten. Speaking of Korea... I never thought I'd live through the negative 20 and below temps. BUT I DID! Never thought i'd survive the monthlong det there. Oh yeah, and I learned how to make grilled cheese sandwiches on an iron. PB&J tastes pretty good grilled too.
really? Kimchi? Or is Kimichi something different, because I think it's just delightfully piquante. Wasabi isn't hot in the traditional sense either, it's really got that sinus-clearing effect more than a liquid fire Indian curry type taste...you know?

Just because it's in the thesaurus doesn't mean it's a good idea.
And why isn't 'dethesaurisation' in the dictionary?
what's kimichi? (".)

Kimichi is a noodle/cabbage/whatever combo soup that can be (most of the time really is) incredibly hot and spicey. It's an asian meal, but so far the best I've had has been straight out of South Korea.
well, i used to think i'd never get many fansubs, now i have 1.3tb of them
i used to think i'd have a relativly small anime dvd collection too, now i have about 150-200 i think
in the last 2 years, my anime collection had quadrupled
How do you find time to watch all of that? I barely have enough to catch a half hour special...

i watch 1-2 episodes of something per day. i doub't i'll run out of anime anytime soon lol.
Lets see...
1 day ~ 1.5 episodes
1.5 episodes ~300 MB
1300000 MB / 300 MB = 4,333 days...
... or 11.87 years (give or take a leap day or so)
Yep, I doubt you will run out of anime anytime soon

Kimchi is actually just the treated vegetables. It's generally cabbage that's been kind of 'rotted' or allowed to 'mature' a little, but there's a heck of a lot spices added to it. We have like, five tubs of it at home cos my mother wanted some. And we had a friend who can make it so there's a tub that's like, half-way finished, one quarter-way finished, and three that are ready to eat. HOT STUFF.

I <3 spicy food.
Wasabi is GOOD stuff,
I kinda like tabasco too lol,
my dad tricked me into eating a spoonful ( no kidding) after that I think I burned off my tastebuds for the spicy stuff lol
it's called fermentation, I believe -- and it's a certain kind of cabbage, which isn't really at all like the cabbage that you get with cabbage rolls, for example.
Incidentally I've always found it more sour or tangy than all that spicy. It's very red though...
I ate kimchi. It's sour. (".) A bit spicy, but our local chilis are about 50x spicier.
