What's up everybody. I'm new to these forums, wasn't around back in the old days of C3F.

Anyways, I'm on the varsity basketball team at my high school, and I am so sick of my coach. Actually, not one player on the team likes him. Sometimes he can be cool, but he's such a jackass most of the time. I don't think I've ever heard him compliment anyone. He knows a lot about basketball, but has no clue how to teach us, yet expects us to do things he hasn't taught us. And on top of him being a bad coach, I haven't gotten into a game this year. I'm a junior and when I tried out I was expecting to ride the bench, but before our first game he said, "Moeller, you're going to be our main option off the bench for our starting forward and center." Obviously that isn't how it turned out.

But I guess at least It'll be better next year. Oh well, just needed somewhere to vent all that out and here was a perfect opportunity.

There’s like a supervisor guy at work who’s kind of rash, I like my job and the atmosphere is really relaxed but every so often the supervisor will stop by the store to shove us around. He’s like 50 something and the rest of us are just college students and despite the huge age difference, he is kinda on the same page as us. Yet sometimes he can be a jackass when stuff needs to get done, stuff like wiping down tables sets him in his mood where he has to kill everyone

Okay.... sorry about that, But I have had it with my computer Repair shop. I' have had a repeating problem with my Current Sony Laptop, where the power shocket is broken. I took in to be repair last year, and the shop replaced it, but I found it stranged to be yellow... The repair looked okay... as I'm no expert. But it broke again and I take it in again... this jack offed manager gets all ratty about how it in it current conditon. He rat's off that I pysical broken it myself, but I've never even touched it.

I left it last week and they finally told me it was repaired on Tuesday, Poped into today to pick it up.... I checked it out and found that the System lights, e.g. Capital letter light, Harddrive, Battary power light and so forth don't light up, They ruined this little cable that connect them from the motherboard, So now they got to order this from sony...... Argggg...... it going to be even longer.....

are you using a 80 wires IDE cable? is it on slave or master mode? are you sharing the IDE cable with another cd/dvd/hard disk drive?
the problem is just with blank DVDs or with CDs as well?

Only Rom on the computer, However don't know about the harddrive...

I've heard that VAIO laptops have problems with the power plug. However, I AM typing this text on my VAIO VGN-FS315M which has been mine for like five months (wow, that long already? o.O) and it's never had problems, except that it won't go into standby mode (like 90% of all computers in this world). I guess it depends... Sony products are a matter of luck, some PlayStations and cameras never break, but others do. At least I hope that my VAIO won't break down in foreseeable time, but it cost quite a bit too, so it'd better hold on! Otherwise, it's a great laptop and was my choice over a lot of rivaling devices from other manufacturers.

Argg..... Damn Gamers... This is not intended towards all gamers, only thoses who make a D**K of themselves while playing on-line. They know who they are...... I was playing a half-hour worth of playing time on Steam's Day of Defeat Sources. Durring this Game, I admit I might have been overusing my Voice commands and mic because of my New USB headphones.
However Someone told me to shut up, Which I admit I decided to tone down there and then but someone starts shouting 'Noob'
I started texting my message asking who... He repiled me... However I didn't take it down to his level, I just reminded him who won the level for the last five times with hairbrained stunts that would have cost me my life in reallife.
However he started yacking off how everyone was sick of me... I left him alone to blab his own shit...
When suddenly 'You have bee kick' came across my screen, I thought I got kicked however it was this wise guy, the Admin had had enough of him however he was allowed back on, He asked why he was kicked "why would he?" dumb ass..

And the admin told him he had enough of his opinion, The Dumbass repiled saying he was just saying what everyone else was thinking.
Admin told him, he was someone but that he wasn't thinking this.... Durring that time I had tracked my Prey down and while he was busy typing, I put a bullet point blank into the back of his skull. He hadn't even noticed I was there.... XD

so you fixed the dvd thing? I don't know how the thing is connected in a laptop, since I never had the luxury of disassembling one, but I had the very same problem once, I could burn CDs but not DVDs, and it was because I was using the traditional 40 wires IDE cable, y'know the flat ones. I changed to a 80 wires cable which allows more data transfer and done.

doesn't most laptops come preassembled anyway? or did somebody else connect the dvd-rw to your laptop for you?

My Computer Burns DVD-R, while I had brought Bloody DVD+R discs.... Arggg... Repeatly hits his head agaisnt the Wall, And my friend was right the format was the problem....

I "started" an online course though RMIT a few weeks ago, yet can not do any of the work or get any of the texts,until I get my ID card, so I can get my student number, which I can't get until I get sent confirmation of my enrolement. I have been verbely told that I got in, have attended the orientation workshop (3 weeks ago BTW), yet the people at the desk can't give me the bloody number cos I can't prove I'm me, even though I have 3 forms of photo ID, a bank card, medicare card and had my birth certificate in my bag, they just won't let me without the piece of paper. When you ring them to ask if the conformation was sent, your lucky if you get someone at all, and if you do, you get told it was sent yesterday. It was sent yesterday every work day for the last 3 weeks. I'm getting stressed (Not really a good thing BTW), my folks are getting stressed, even my extended families getting stressed. Add to that, that at least 1000 other people are suffering the same problem, it 's stupid.

The DVD recorder that I brought for downstairs broke! I can not get a decent play on anything. It like the entire format has it agaisnt me or something..... Lest alita01 got her recording of Scramble War before it broke, but booh hoo to the other poor sod who now requesting a Copy.

Solution: Buy the cheapest crappiest DVD player you can find and it'll outlast all of the good ones and end up playing everything you have perfectly. *hugs his crappy DVD player*
