So with the abundance of animes in usual genres like mecha, comedy, romance comedy, fighting, supernatural etc there's gotta be a time where we run into something that's a little different and unique. What animes have you seen that fall into this category?
For me it's Bartender. I first heard about this anime from reading a description of it in a program booklet at the Manifest convention, planned to go see it since the premise of the series sounded interesting but never did it until I got it off my friend.
The thing that I found unique about Bartender was that it managed to tie in the different types of cocktails and mixed drinks towards the lifestyle of the various characters that appear in it. There was one episode where it went into the history of the Margarita which I found interesting and actually enjoyed the story it was related to. I also liked how it brought back all the characters that appeared throughout the series in the final episode.
I would really recommend this anime for those that want to watch something different or get away from the usual stereotypical genres.
