I watched piece of the show, but just couldn't be asked to watch it out of order. I have no idea what Nick's schedule for the show. Since it's a show with a plot, you need to watch it in order. I'm not sure Nick ever aired in order outside when they released new episodes in order. I was thinking of picking up.
Yeah, I haven't seen it from the start either. Apparantly the only episodes I've seen, since I checked just a few minutes ago are episodes 11, 12 and 14 lol. But from what I could gather from watching those episodes, it's something that really shouldn't be ignored. It's one of the few animations coming out of the US at the moment which is actually worth watching... and that's really saying something considering that a lot of current US animations are pretty bad in my personal opinion.
You've read it! You can't unread it!
Yup! I 'fess up, I've seen all of this show. Originally I dismissed it as a cheap anime knock-off, but heard that the actual fight sequences were pretty well-animated and so gave it a chance. There are a few *facepalm* moments, but when you remember it's a show aimed at younger kids, you forgive it. And sometimes I'm surprised by just how mature the plot and characters are.
Thus ends my confessional of shame
Just because it's in the thesaurus doesn't mean it's a good idea.
And why isn't 'dethesaurisation' in the dictionary?

Ive seen some Rule 34 images of Appa before XD
In one Toph is underneath Appa and it has a speech thing that says "Ok very funny guys! Now give me back my clothes and tell Appa to quit lickin' my butt!...Guys?" XD
Thanks for taking a kids show kicking and screaming into /b/ there, chim... Toph does not approve

yup i watched this before until book 3. to tell you the truth i was kinda addicted to this, i was always tuning to nick that is till i moved to Manila. I got them on DvD. Blue you prbably remember the episode `siege of the north` that's one of my fav. by the way did i mention the stance? the bending stance are very cool. damn it you could laugh, but im not gonna take my words back.
Siege of the North is an excellent two-parter
I honestly can't tell you which episode is my absolute favourite, since some of them are amazing for their plot and scale, and others I love because of the characters (*coughcough*TheBlindBandit*coughcough*)
The bending stances and the fights themselves are what first attracted me to watching this show. According to the anonymity of the intarwebs:
Earth benders' moves are based on the Hung Gar style of Kung Fu.
Fire benders' moves are designed along the lines of Northern Shaolin Kung Fu.
Water benders' moves are based on Tai Chi positions.
Aang's airbendering is apparently based on a fighting style called Ba Gua.
Just because it's in the thesaurus doesn't mean it's a good idea.

didnt know that, but i can see the similarity in the water tribe bending stance to tai chi.
