Why did you try to explain yourself to Leon, Lynk? XD

hahahhahaha!
Hey! Are you paying attention to class?
The movie's incarnation of Starscream looks like a fatass on crack. XD
There, now we're talking about Transformers again. XD

Well, compare him to G1 Starscream. 'Cuz he looks fat to me.
You know, I've noticed you have a very scary thing against fat people XD
Like I said, he has a wide body, but if you view him from the side, he's quite thin. I thought the design they had for him was quite clever.
You've read it! You can't unread it!
Yeah, I noticed how the width of his torso matches the width of his wingspan in jet mode.
I guess I've gotten too used to the thin and narrow torsos of G1 Transformers.

i had a sheltered life. *good enough excuse* XD
Hey Rach, I still live under my rock y'know! Although I know the "all your base are belong to us" line, it's sad how many people here have to have it explained to them -_-
Just because it's in the thesaurus doesn't mean it's a good idea.
And why isn't 'dethesaurisation' in the dictionary?
Rach Wrote:Come on, guys! you're all 20+ years old! you should know about this stuff!
Actually, I'm 19.
@Lynk: I never said that I hated fat people. Nor do I hate the movie's incarnation of Starscream, I was just joking around.
Optimus Prime's "flames" paint scheme makes me think of the NASCAR Champion Jeff Gordon. Gee, I wonder why...
Also, what did you guys think of the Cybertron CGI scene? It kind of reminded me of, *cough* *cough* MORDOR!! XD
Hmmm, could the success of Transformers be a good thing? (if you like live action Evangelion that is )
Quote:During the Q&A portion of the panel, Greenfield said that “fascinating things” were happening with the live-action Evangelion movie, but he was not at liberty to discuss them at the moment. However, although there is no information available on the possibility of ADV licensing the new Evangelion movies, he said that, as someone who is married to the voice actress of Asuka, “there is certainly a great incentive of us to go ahead and do that.”

So does this mean that the Live Eva movies are still on? Although I get the feeling that someone will come along and dampen our enthusiam by saying, "no".
@Analog: Would you like us to give you a heads up the next time a good movie has a scene like the masturbation scene? Just to warn you before you take your kids?

Nah, that's okay Falcon. I'll just try and pay more attention to the rating system next time... although I don't think that would keep me from bringing the kids along depending on the movie.

I watched it and I liked it, It was good and I enjoyed it, but I'm not voting since it wasn't that great and "it was ok" seems unfair.
What I did not like about the movie at all was all the advertisement, mainly of eBay and Nokia... what the heck do I care if Nokia is from Finnland or Japan? I hate all that marketing crap.
and goddammit, things burn when they enter the atmosphere, not when they leave it!

Are you referring to Starscream's departure during the end credits?
Actually the space shuttle grows a pretty big plasma shield on liftoff until the atmosphere thins out enough.

yeah, Cybertron seemed less "cyber" and more dark spiky things. It could have usd a heaping helping of metal and less...spiky things...and lava. Depending on which canon you go by, cybertron may or may not even have any dirt in it.

Warranted that now all future movies that have actors smoking will be rated "R" in the US with no exceptions.
Very good film, really enjoyed it. The attention to detail given to the robots was impressive. I'm glad it lived up to expectations.
Well, Mav, if you're complaining about the Ebay and Nokia 'merchan', no prob, you can sponsor the next movie then XD
i liked the scenes, since i am a hell of a mobile phone geek

bah.. my problem is that they weren't subtle about it.
@Falcon: yup
@Analog: never hear about it nor I can find any info...

See, now, a few people have been talking about some of the ridiculous things to appear in the Transformers movie... but none of those people seem to mention the moment at the very end where the guy and the chick are on Bumblebee in a very 'rwar' moment.
Yup, that's right, go for it on the hood of the car, that is actually a sentient being, while his friends are around you watching you in the act as well. *thumbs up*

You know that the part they didn't show was where the horrid fanfic took off and it became a cyber-threesome.
Does it strike you as odd that Firefox recognizes "threesome" as a word but not "cyber"?
