I've said this to a few others, It's not fair to hold it back almost a month in one country JUST so the cinemas can make a little more money from school kids on their holidays...
Especially when by the time it comes out in the cinema it will be on the net for download

I was quite impressed to tell the truth. It was poorly advertized, and overly marketed, but I really loved the movie, they looked different, but really FELT like transformers. Didn't care for the funn mouth's and lips, and Frenzy was a hoot, so overall I really liked the movie. Too bad *character* died. Oh well, now comes him rebuilt as: *name*! In the news Transformers movie scheduled for 2009!

Who else thought it felt like the original animated movie? One action packed ride after another XD
You've read it! You can't unread it!
My favourite character was Frenzy, just listening to the dialouge though cartoonishly gooyfy, comic relief was a good distraction when everything seemed to be rushing up to you.
And BumbleBee with pantomime and all, excellent work, especially the way he talks.
I actually forgot that the movie was a Bay movie.
I want a Mountain Dew transformer!

More refrences to the old movies, and the Junkions! After seeing the designs "come to life" and not just be posters or drawings, I want to see a revamped Unicron.

I give this movie... full marks.
For one, I have never really been interested Transformers until really a few weeks ago. Though, I kind of wish I was a bit more interested them when I was younger. So, I didn't really know what to expected and I was expecting too much out of it. I think I got what I bargained for. There was tons of action (that's a given), some humour, and the story wasn't too bad and neither was the acting. I was impressed by Shia Leboeuf's performance (having not seen Disturbia) and really that only other shows/movies I've seen him in was Holes and Even Stevens. >_> I liked the voices they used for the Transformers. Though, I couldn't really recognize Hugo Weaving's voice as Megatron. Optimus Prime was awesome. Definitely my favourite Transformer.
I'll have to see it again, since there was so much action and I missed some of it. Definitely in my top 3 movies I've seen this year with Live Free or Die Hard and Hot Fuzz. I'll probably get this on DVD, too.
it was pretty freakn awesome movie!!! went and saw it on the 3rd with my landlord and his son. glad i went! Though im more of a beastwars fan (have never watched a full episode of transformers besides a few from the beast war transformer series) i really liked it. some parts reminded me of the game 'mech assault' *walks out of thread so as not to get gunned down*
Starscream looks sort of like a Grunt from the video game Halo. At least, the head looks like a Grunt head.
One thing about this movie that disappointed me was the fact that Megatron didn't seem like much of a leader: He was just a beast that tore a city apart. The only part where Megatron seems like a leader is when he says, "you have failed me again, Starscream."
Also, from my perspective, Starscream (in this movie) seems like a better leader then Megatron.

I shouldn't have read that spoiler tag comment, however dont say anything about megs like that again Falcon or i will have to kick your @$$ ok :P
What are you talking about Falcon?
The Decepticons went out of their way to free their leader so he could lead them to victory. The reason Megatron was PISSED was because he was frozen for hundreds of years, he was kinda out of touch with the hell was going on.
And don't read that Leon, if you know what's good for you.

That and Megatron ALWAYS hated humand and loves to blow human stuff up. In that respect he was very true to G1 Megatron. He shot G1 Ironhide in the head!!(and thusly killed him)

But did movie Megatron plan any attacks like G1 Megatron? Like a leader? No.
He didn't set any traps like G1 Megatron, which, IMO, is a major "letdown."
Don't get me wrong, though. To help you guys better understand what I'm saying, listen to this: I do like this incarnation of Megs, but I, personally, would have liked him to have more brains than teeth.
@Leon: Shoot me. XD
XD The plan was set before the movie even began, he just got a little sidetracked. As soon as he was unfrozen he resumed the plan he had already began long ago. Plus you're asking too much for a movie to do, you need a series to get the kind of things you're asking for.
You've read it! You can't unread it!
Well, that's just me. XD
The plan is pretty much explained by Optimus at the very beginning of the movie, so, oh well...
Im not that interested in Transformers but the movie sounds alright i might see it some time when it comes out on DVD XD
And then even then when you have the DVD in your hand you won't bother to watch it anywayz.
You've read it! You can't unread it!
No i might since its a movie and not still in its packaging maybe XD
So, if it was on TV right now... XD
I would be on the computer XD
I come off the comp and watch Stargate sometimes XD
it's really not worth seeing if your not a Transformers fan. Otherwise it's a must.

Its not like im going to pay to see it XD
Notice when i said "Im not that interested in Transformers but the movie sounds alright..." XD
Bah. You should still see it whether or not you are a Transformers fan. I never watched Transformers beforehand. I watched the movie. I like. XD
Listen to Ray, Chim. He has a point. XD
It's good if you're a Transformers fan or if you like action movies with nothing much else to them. Cause other than being a Transformers movie, it's a very entertaining action movie.

With plenty of humor.
Frenzy: "Oh shit!" XD

watched.
loved.
The Camaro vs Mustang duel made my heart happy.
It was a excellent way to revive something that I used to watch when i was a kid!
Hey! Are you paying attention to class?
Well Rach loved it, no need to take anymore votes!

Oy Lynk, where's the option for "Haven't seen it and probably won't" for those of us who are cinematically-challenged?
Love the sig btw, Rach
Just because it's in the thesaurus doesn't mean it's a good idea.
And why isn't 'dethesaurisation' in the dictionary?
