when do you EVER hold the clip of the weapon other then reloading? :P
Hey I have a problem with the Mag on my M4 feeding correctly unless I hold it like that, other wise on 3 out of 6 BB come out instead of a steady stream. And you try firing an Eagle.... the kick on it murder

I've held an M4 like that, I was told it was approved on the m4 and only the m4 because of the improved locking mechanism on the latch at the front of the magazine. Oh yeah, and unless you'd like wrist to crumble under the recoil of the "real" Desert Eagle, then I suggest two hands firmly on the pistol grip, some slightly bent arms and some solid forearm enforcement.
When was that pic of the f-18 taken falcon? aircraft 66 (366, buno 163560) of vfa 125 had its turtle back panels (the panels just behind the canopy that look like they have dark outlines) resealed after some advanced troubleshooting from me and some other electricians. It would be cool to know my work payed off, because I got yelled at for breaking the seal on a newly painted jet. (go figure)

See Scar!
Man I had fun that day..... Amherst Fort was a blast and me and Gunny had lots of fun, Why he brought a Spas 12 Shotgun to a wood land game I'll never know..... Took some good marksman shot and took pleanty of Ambush kills, but ran into a few myself. Worst death on Sunday was a single grenade killed 9 of my team by a well placed throw through a window in the Chapel.
Argg.... that didn't beat Saterday game where I led my team stright in an ambush when we were hunting the Airman, Six dead in thirty secoands..... by our target only armed with a sidearm....Must be Epsoms record....

really? I thought the MP5N was the USN perfered weapon on choice... maybe it different on ship compared to land-side
Quote:you were still wrong with the d-eagle :P
Well the Eagle wasn't mine.... I was just trying it out, I too carry an M9 as my side arm....

Last time I qualled with the m9 and m16 (I havn't had a chance to get introduced into the shotgun or m4 quallifactions list yet) I got an 228 and 236 which are both expert. Its cool because I wear both expert badges on my uniform!
@ Hawk: Me thinks the mp5 is a british navy standard issue, in the US we still carry the updated vietnam era m16 almost everywhere. Only the US Army is getting updated equipment like the SCAR and the HM36. M4's are still relatively new to the Marine corps as well.
@Scar: I thought the navy would have prefered shotguns over m16s, When I stayed on the ship for a month or two that was the only thing I was allowed to carry. Unless your talking about somewhere land-based... Might be differen't on a ship that isn't a carrier I guess.
Meanwhile, I upgraded my Tommy Gun recently...

In my opinion, the M4 rifle is best used when it has a scope.
I took the picture on June 10th at the California Capital Airshow in Sacramento, CA.
@Kiai: Do you mean that you worked on that particular f-18?
I thought that you were a foot-soldier.
@Hawk: You look awsome in jungle camo. That is Jungle camo, isn't it?
Falcon_06 Wrote:In my opinion, the M4 rifle is best used when it has a scope.
Not a rifle... it's a M4 carbine.....

She works on Aircraft as well, remember a Marine is alway first a rifleman then what ever trade they pick up later, may it be a Cook, sniper, Mechanic etc etc

Carbine? Interesting...
I've heard the term, "carbine" before, but I never knew that the M4 was a carbine. I thought that it was a conventional rifle.
According to Wikipedia, a carbine, by definition, is a "light, short-barreled rifle." Although, I think that a carbine is designed for combat at a closer range in comparison to a conventional rifle.

I was a Cadet and I'l like the action when i was in the Sqn,
But I'm not joining up with the Military as the British MOD can't get anything right at the moment. The British Military at the moment is a joke, compare to other forces around the World.

You mean like how those Australians escaped capture with "colourful language" but the British guys in the same situation got captured so easily?
