Hey everyone, I'll make this quick and simple.

Current BGCC colour scheme

Classic BGCC colour scheme

I'm keeping the current design of BGCC but I am willing to change the colour scheme. Which colour scheme do you want?

I vote for the classic one but I'd like to suggest changing the colour of the menus at the top to white to make it more clear and easy to spot.

That's cause it's the EXACT same colours as the original colour scheme I used for BGCC there Hawk XD

Oh and I've updated the classic pic so that the menu text is white instead of red.

Ah, but what you do not know is that I frequently visited TACC as a guest when it was classic. I've known TACC since early 2006. Smile

Falcon what Hawk is refering to is the original BGCC not TACC, BGCC was back in... when was BGCC originally started Lynk... 2001?

Current, makes a nice change from the plethora of black/red/grey/blue (in any and all combinations) anime sites. Dark text on pale backgrounds are kinder on the eyes than the other way around too.

That's right! I got them both mixed up because the address for the BGCC was "thecrisiscenter.net" back then. Damn. Thanks for the correction.

What I should have said was, "I visited the old BGCC as a guest since early 2006."

It's pretty much like this: http://www.thecrisiscenter.net/bgcc.png cept with the navigation bar removed from the side and it was an Invision Power Board, and the colours matched the design.

XD I did say that the classic scheme wasn't final. All I did was just change the colours in a very literal fashion, there was no fine tuning done at all, so don't worry too much about it XD

No, it's not.

Light background, dark text = Little harder to read, but you can look at it for longer without straining your eyes.

Dark background, light text = Easier to read, but strains your eyes if you read for too long.

Really? I deduced is the other way around because of how CRT monitors work.

Actually, it doesn't have anything to do with monitor radiation at all. It's a very old typography thing that was figured out long before computers were invented.

But there's a problem... I can't update the forum colours because of an error I keep getting when trying to update the CSS values... guh, I have to figure out what the hell is wrong x.x

I'm also beginning to have second thoughts about this, BGCC looks like it's been designed by an amateur now...
