Okay, this movie's plot was somewhat simple, but the CGI was absolutely awesome! All the characters had their "moments".
One thing I have to say is, out of all those fistfights, swordfights, and gun fights, almost no one actually dies. Other than Jenova.
Did the creators try to make this a G-rated film or something? lol
It's a very long videogame cutscene... without the videogame.

No, The Spirits Within was just plain terrible x.x Advent Children is MUCH better than that, but it's still a very long videogame cutscene without the videogame.

I liked Spirits Within XD I thought the story was better than most live-action films I've seen...
Advent Children's fights were awesome, but that's all it is. Due to the fast pace, I couldn't even understand the story, like WTF is going on? XD So I had to watch it a second time...and a third time... and I still didn't understand everything that happened, until I looked it up on Wiki. I sincerely believe that whoever wrote the FF:AC entry on Wiki is an extreme fanboy/girl, because there is no way you can understand all that from the movie alone. That, or he/she has no life.
I like FF:AC for the pretty boys. And that is all.
Oh hey, the three "clones" of Sephiroth, they all died* in the end. Cloud almost died, but Aeris sent him back.

Lynks not a ff fan but so
Which would mean that I should've liked The Spirits Within... since other than the name and some off-hand lil things, it's not really Final Fantasy.
Just because I don't like the overall videogame series doesn't mean I HATE it implicitly in all its forms.

Like... does Cloud love Tiffa, or Aeris? XD

I liked FFVII:AC. Brilliant CG and decent action. It's is a good bit of laid back entertainment to kill a couple hours.
