I've recently taken interest in the classic PC game, Master of Orion II.
It's an old game, but, for some reason, it still rocks!
Has anyone else played or heard of this game?
What other old school PC games have you played?

Masters of Orion 2 is one of the most amazing old-school games ever.
And I really mean that. It's a strange mix of galactic conquest, building up civilizations on planets, and having massive space battles.
But it's awesome.

MOO II is a great game, unfortunately MOO III was just crap and sold very few copies.
I hope that this wasn´t the tombstone for the whole series
If you liked MOO then Galactic Civilizations might be worth a look for you.

i want to get myself a good copy of one of the older versions of 'heroes of might and magic'. that game rocked too.
only problem is with one try, considering my top-notch laptop with its 64 bit cpu and all that goodness. it had a sort of negitive effect on the lappy.

For Heroes of Might and Magic, I'd recommend getting two or three. Four was terrible, and I never played one. Five was pretty good too from what I've played, but I haven't had much of a chance to play that one yet.

I was looking at Galactic Civilzations in the store the other day. It does look interesting... especially since I'm addicted to Civilization the PC game.

@ Mav: Commander Keen 4, 5 and 6 rocked, but 1, 2 and 3 weren't good... at least to me.
