Analog Wrote:I had no idea what it was, but I turned it on just as it started. When it was done 90 minutes later, I was impressed... really impressed. It reminded me a lot of another movie with a couple of A's, a k and an r in the title... Akira. It had action, drama, intrigue, excellent animation, and a nice soundtrack... among other things as well.I was really impressed to. I rented this on a whim because the cover art was so attractive, but I had no idea what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised. The animation is just stunning and I completely fell into the story. I have re-watched it three times now and am just biting at the bit for the second half. Speaking of, I forget how I stumbled across this information, because Manga Entertainment's site doesn't list the release date (just says "coming soon"), but Rightstuf and Wikipedia have the release date for the second half, Karas: the Revelation listed as April 3, 2007. I can not wait!
