The way it's set up is un related yes. Yes all the existing nights are active, and there are no similarities other then a prosthetic, and with petra its just her hand. That dream sequence is of a time when the two had first met and were out on their first mission together. They really hated each other tooth and nail before that, but that event solidified their friendship forever. Since this is chapter two I wanted to work up to how and when they first met, but in later chapters, hoping to focus on the story at hand. There are also several other arcs that need to be added as well. this is just a small fraction of what I wanted to write, so expect a heapload later!
