What was your very first anime that you watched? And when did you start getting into anime?

For me, it was

1983
Battle Of The Planets (aka GatchaMan)
StarBlazers (aka SpaceBattle Ship Yamato)

1984
Along with the transforming robot craze of Transformers and Go-Bots (aka Machine Men), there was

Voltron Movie - It was the first 5 episodes of Lion Force
Astroboy
Capton Harlok / Captain Future - It was a double feature VHS tape I rented to death.
