The difference is that I'm not necessarily "importing" the cd since it's being sent as a gift by someone else who "bought" it for me but anyway this doesn't exempt Lik-Sang seeing how they're not a fully law-abiding company as shown from Nintendo's lawsuit, then again Hong Kong & China is plagued with the piracy issue so this shouldn't come as a surprise.
