While I'm not a huge fan of Meat Loaf in the direct sense, there is a certain lame appeal to his music that keeps me coming back. Most of that appeal comes from Jim Steinman, who composed both of Meat Loaf's 'Bat Out Of Hell' albums, but also Bonnie Tyler's smash 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' and Celine Dion's annoying hit 'It's All Coming Back To Me Now'.
If you like Meat Laof, chances are you'd like most of Steinman's work. My favourite will always be 'Nowhere Fast' by Fire, Inc. This was the theme song to the greatest Rock N' Roll fable ever told, the 1984 movie 'Streets of Fire'.
