I didn't go as far as all those people in the video when I went to Tokyo last year. I sure didn't spend thousands of dollars to go on an anime tour. Actually because of my job, I got to walk around Tokyo (including Akihabara) for about $50.
Then again, I wasn't exactly a normal tourist either. I wonder how many people go to Akihabara and take lots of pictures of anime displays in stores?
