why would he ever remake the original trilogy. I realize that there were a lot of things he wanted to do with the movies that he couldn't because of limitations...but the film is just so great as it is, and a lot of those cuts he had to make have really come to be a part of the movie itself.

In any case, I love the films, and I still watch them from time to time -- but I just like the idea of star wars even more -- so everything about that franchise, whatever money GL is trying to milk out of it, is fine by me. I don't think I'll ever get tired of star wars games, books, even this crazy new TV series they're talking about (I'm really excited for this because it isn't going to be about the main characters, so I'm hoping it will be a lot like SWG was before all the crazy changes they made).
