Mean while on a Paradise loop subway car, three figures sat alone in the car as it rumbled along the tracks towards the next stop along it line. The black haired woman in the group rocked backwards and forwards with a small girl in her lap. As the man examined his weapon, and reloaded it a full magazine.
“Tell me what going on” demanded Linna in a whisper as not to scare the child she was hold. Tom didn’t take his eyesight of the weapon he was working on as he answered her.
“It obit of a long story, but I’ll tell you what I can…” he paused to set the weapon down on his lap. He rubbed his hand against his tired blue eyes before he turned to Linna. “I’m about 30 years from the future and I’m your son….” The atmosphere suddenly dropped 10 degrees in the subway car as Linna’s head slowly turn Ninety degree to her right as she stared at Tom. When she first laid eyes on him, she thought she saw some resemblance to her late father but she didn’t put any of it together because of the rampaging boomer that was going round causing all the destruction.
“How… Why…” she started to mumble off question, Tom raised his hand
“All in good Time Mother” he answered her “First off we got to find Sylia and give her this” he said holding up a small electronic data storage device. The Little Girl known as Mika was staring at Tom and the disc, she reached out for it unaware she was doing so.
“Hey Mika-Chan this isn’t for you” he said before he placed it back into his chest pocket. Instead he pulled out a Lollypop and undid the wrapper before he handed it to her
“Himmm Strawwberry…” she answered as she sucked on it “My Fave'rate”
“That my girl” Tom said as he scuffed her hair in love.
“What so important about that device” Linna asked as she referred to the data device Tome had pocketed.
“It contains all the information about the attack” he replied as quickly doubled checked his gun was loaded and ready.
“What Attack?”
“The invasion of the sīlon empire fleet" he answered.
